Del Boy and Cleverley are good signings. Value for money.

If the manager can sign Shaqiri, a second striker and a CB as well as getting rid of the like of Kone and McGeady then this is a very good summer.

By making the right type of signing, it is a good start and hopefully Everton will have a better start this season. McCarthy and Mirallas decide to sign a new contract, I think this is a sign showing the team is fully behind Martinez.

Perhaps all the fans including the doubters should get behind the team and the manager now. This is the new season, Everton need the supporters starting from today.

The manager has clearly said he wants THREE new players as of now.

If he gets two (with one in Jan). Thats ok.

But certainly he needs one or two and yes you will be correct.

The money is there. The wages is the uncertainty.

However, the board need to realise the stadium issue (one which they have made no progress) over the next three years will make things more difficult.

They need to put up or shut up and pack up.


Simple as. As Everton are about to go into battle once again. We want trophies.

You make a good point there the chairman and board are a disgrace.
On martinez though he needs to change the tactics he got it very wrong again today.
