But they didn't, We just don't have anyone showing for the ball in the middle/hole. I don't know if that's a confidence thing for Barkley or McCarthy is too deep or frankly why it is. What I do know is Shaqiri is the kind of player who will do it.

Don't listen to his post match waffle so wouldn't know it's more than obvious. I've read he said he wants 3 in that's it.
 

I'm sorry but he just has not learned anything from last season; ponderous, slow and bereft of ideas until halfway through the 2nd half. Why are we persisting in using Rom as a target man with his back to goal? Why are we passing back to the keeper unnecessarily? We still have problems with a defence which just sits back and invites us to attack. The atmosphere just got worse and worse and if Martinez cant see what is happening then he should go before we are proper relegation candidates. Lets see what happens in the next 9 games shall we?

I wanted it to because he's a good bloke, but I don't think it's going to work out for Martinez here.

We've got one of the best squads we've had in years, God knows how he manages to get us playing like we do.
 

Anyone could see that playing McCarthy, Barry and Cleverley in the same team would be toxic - I said as much weeks ago. One winger too.

We are like a bad porn film - all foreplay and no penetration. I've no faith at all that this guy knows what he's doing.

I think problem is he signed them and does not have the balls to drop some one to the bench, they are his collection of faves.
