That's very short sighted.
Let me ask you point blank: do you want this manager to be given the chance to carry on developing this squad or not?
I think we do. We've dropped 11 points from winning positions this Season, all of which came after the Bournemouth game (including Bournemouth).
It's nice for the neutral but it's not more entertaining for Everton fans. Watching us look like conceding every time the ball is in our half of the pitch is taking years off my life.
Yep that was just on Goals on Sunday, those points would have had us top four they say. Bad plotters.I think we do. We've dropped 11 points from winning positions this Season, all of which came after the Bournemouth game (including Bournemouth).
interesting, looks like that might have really knocked players confidence
There have been many wasted years at this club, spanning across multiple managersYou're absolutely right about Martinez being able to attract certain top players other managers couldnt. He also has us passing wonderfully going forward at times. Not only that but he's very media friendly and dresses well.
Sadly, he has form for conceding sh1tloads of goals through disregarding defence. He is also displaying incredible and increasing consistency in terms of failing to hold leads. Similar to when Keegan was at Newcastle really. Doubtless in years to come we'll look back on him with fondness as a "nice fella" but ultimately another wasted decade as per Moyes.
Unless of course he follows up his previous relegation with another one here..
FFS we're even running the club's history down now to justify BobbyI think people forget we are Everton, we under achieve simply because we are never really good enough
it did ruin our season, we were still in touching distance of 4th and one of the favourites in my opinion with an easy run coming up - we truly f*cked it up.
Tragic lack of patience. I want us to be a top team, of course I do. I know how Martinez want to achieve that and I'm supporting his plan - Everton will be a team based on a young players and play a specific style of football. That's unique combination and take years to perfect it, especialy with such a young manager. Players will come and go, manager and his system will stay for years. And that's the recipe for a success.Tragic lack of ambition
yeah i know, our fans will get more frustrated under him than moyes, but they'll get vastly more entertained. If we're going to be a club that never wins anything, you'd rather watch yesterday's 3-3 than an 11 men behind the ball 0-0 effort with the game seemingly lasting 150 minutes.
at least we're getting in positions to win these type of games. And i actually have expectation we can win something rather than hope.
Don't beat Swansea at home and the excuses will have to stop, we simply need to turn performances into wins.
Ok, fair enough. Let's have Wigans record thrown in....and Swansea's under him too eh?
Swansea under Martinez:
126 games, won 63, drawn 37, lost 26. Win rate 50%.
Over to you.

What's yours then mate? Change manager every year after we didn't get Europe? That's ambitious and stupid.
