I just saw a people carrier slowly exiting the McDonald's drive thru near Toxteth. I clearly saw Emerson Boyce driving, with Martinez, Kone, Alcaraz, Boselli and Caldwell in the back. More to follow.

I've just seen Suarez getting on a plane to Madrid, laughing his head off.

sorry lads, does the media give us any plaudits for playing it nice? no they belittle us and sell our players for us, do the refs give us any plaudits for playing it nice? no they give key decisions against us.

I dont want a grade A [Poor language removed] but I want someone who pressures the ref/speaks out against the media/RS someone like Fergie's attitude

All this little Everton shoite was started by, and continues to be used by, the powers at be at GP.

Its all designed to show 'how good a job' they are doing by dumbing down and then pushing out the line 'punching above our weight'.

his agent has just told ss news hes happy and stayin at liverfool.(breaking news)

That will be to make sure he doesn't lose his % when he moves on and also keeps the deluded masses on side in the short term.

Fellaini has done similar but as soon as Chelsea / UTD make there move for him he'll be out the door, make no mistakes about that.

<Hopes that they don't>

Moyes has always been cautious mate. It wasn't that long ago that Baines was getting talked about going to Sunderland for 2 million and couldn't get a sniff of our first team. He only got in Lescott forced through his own move. If Moyes has had his way Baines still probably wouldn't of been picking splinters out of his arse.

The same with Coleman, he should of been given an opportunity at right back ages ago especially against the likes of Fulham, Wigan at home ages ago. He's only in now cause of injuries and how lucky have we been in both cases that they were given chances.

What has Duffy done to warrant a start? Duffy is the elite defender for his generation. I've seen loads of him amongst his own age group and he is really top class but all this sitting on the sidelines will kill him, he'll stagnate and regress. He's already had international sides fighting over him but how can they pick someone who only plays reserve team football? No matter how talented he is. Once he's in our first team he'll be right in the Ireland team make no mistake about that as was Coleman. This time last year Raheem Sterling couldn't get in the England under 18 team. A couple of average first team performances for the sh*te and he was in the England first team.

I remember watching Duffy at Blackburn in the FAYC 4 or 5 years ago when there was an article in the program by Phil Jones who was playing centre half in the same age group. Jones was talking about how good Duffy is and how he was hoping to emulate how good Duffy was. The Blackburn coaches were writing about the strength of our side and how Duffy was the main man at that level and how Blackburn had tried so hard to get him.

It's a myth how Moyes was rated for giving the kids a chance. What did Duffy do wrong in the exceptional performances he's put in when he played? Why have we not seen him since despite the defence, Heitinga in particular being very average early last season?

I honestly don't think many posters on here realise how good our kids are. They are the in the top 3 or 4 in this country and there are some exceptional talents, I am sure Martinez will give them games. We have 3 or 4 at least in there now ready to walk into our first team squad hence why I don't believe we need anything more than another top drawer striker at the moment. I don't want the kids to stagnate or be ruined as players like Rodwell were. Rodwell who was asked to play wide right or sit deep in a defensive midfield role for us when it took the likes of Capello one training session to realise he was an attacking midfielder who should be allowed to play centrally, drive in to space and comit players. Rodwell who wasn't first choice for little ol' Everton but walked straight into Man City's premier league winning team when he signed.

Duffy's been on loan and done well years ago. He's played in the first team and done well. He's now ready to establish himself, he was a year or 2 ago.

This. Every time I have seen Duffy in a blue shirt, he has done nothing wrong - never looked out of place and I've always thought he deserved more of a go - never got why Moyes chose to play Hibbert at CB instead. even on his debut he was winning every header and the forwards were just bouncing off him. Hopefully he'll get an opportunity this season. I know I'd have no qualms seeing his name on the team sheet

Duffy is good can anyone say he deserved to be dropped when he had a little run in the team jan/feb 2012 due to injurys. he played really well

During this spell Duffy was fantastic, and would like to have seen a bit more, but in my view your 2 CB's need to be experienced, not only for the partnership sake, but for the goalkeepers sake too.

Duffy was fantastic in this spell, the Fulham game in the cup he played very well and looked like he had been there for years, but i still think we are better using experience.

I'd say he will be Sylvan's replacement, and see more of Duffy closer to Sylvan's retirement.

And it is for those reasons that I would have no problems with Neil Lennon coming.
