Look at the players he had at his disposal though, he did ****ing well to get them playing the way they did.

this is the everton equivelant of kopites going on about how boss they were in the 70s etc, we've been playing mostly **** football for the majority of the last two decades, time to stop living in the past.

That's true pal, but you're forgetting he was at the most unattractive club in England, lowest wage bill in the league, with next to nothing resources.

What types of players did you expect him to purchase giving those circumstances.

I'm sorry but we were never a wigan, we are massive compared to Everton. I don't buy that argument, plus Moyes was blessed with the Rooney money to make signings.

Jesus lads, you would all think we have just come out of our most successful period, and appointed a bum. We haven't won a trophy for 18 years, the great David Moyes managed us through the only decade in history that Everton didn't win a trophy. This is not the gamble people are making it out to be, we may have been comfortable top 8 but we were going nowhere . I would rather have a go at the top 4 and finish 12th then finish 6th and don't.
