Title says it. Just wanted a poll. Feel free to merge with the main thread.

I'm ok with Martinez. He's known. I think from a tactical standpoint, he'll be miles ahead of Moyes. From a transfer market standpoint, it'll be tough to see how he'll be able to top Moyes in that department.

For me, it's the product on the pitch. I think he can be better than what we've seen lately.

You have to hope and expect that at 39 year old manager has scope to improve, especially one as reputedly obsessed with his job as Martinez. Moyes improved year on year, developing the attacking style from a defensive base. Martinez can surely do the reverse.

I feel like the clamour for Pereira and Rangnick also is more based on the idea of them than the reality. People 95% of Evertonians hadn't heard of 2 months ago were suddenly overwhelming favourites amongst the majority, based on very little information.

I'm delighted personally, in an ideal world he might right some of the core wrongs at the heart of the Moyes team regarding flair and adventure at key moments, whilst keeping the core of solidity. Or he might spectacularly fail. Either way it's going to be new and exciting.

Would like to see him make a run at N'Zogbia. Taking talented players who have for one reason or another aren't doing at their respected clubs and making them better is what we do well here (Pinnear, Arteta, Donovan etc). N'Zogbia is defo more talented than McManahan IMO and will probably command a low transfer fee so that Villa can get him off the books. Plus N'Zogbia is faster and brings something that our side sorely lacks. Martinez has been the only manager who has gotten the best of him. N'Zogiba with Mirallas behind the striker and hopefully a reborn Jela (who was starting to at least get balls on target after Moyes stopped sending him out wide) and we could have a good strike force there.

Martinez is the guy I've always wanted. He's not a punchable arrogant turd. He's gotten no-names, some of whom are from Scotland too to play some decent stuff. You look at the players we have, and it appears to me that his system fits our squad well. We have a strong CB package (arguably the biggest weakness of his wigan teams). Osman's game is similar to Maloneys and even though he is 31 could probably get better given that there isn't that many miles on him. Jela is probably a better CF than Kone (who I really like) if he gets his confidence back.
