It really doesn't matter now, it seems this will all be tied up this week. I wasn't in favour of Martinez but it looks like he will get it so we all must get behind the new man it to be a matter of THE KING IS DEAD, GOD SAVE THE KING. He will face his test next season whoever gets the job, I hope he passes it(y)
 
Nobody is excited about Martinez, kenwright said he would listen to the fans.

the fans poll does not rate highly for Martinez.
 
Anyone know why Rene Girard hasn't been linked with us? He came out and said he wanted to manage in the Prem. A case of we don't go after managers and wait for their agents to contact us?

I've not heard that Bielsa was looking for a move to the Premiership, so I can understand that we haven't been linked with him, although I wish we had been
 

hi all first time poster,im a swansea city fan and i would have martinez back tommorow give him a little bit of time and you will see attractive attacking football,i know he struggled a bit at wigan but he was forced to sell his best players every season and not have a very big budget to compete but i think he will do well at everton given a little time,the football we played under martinez was better than rodgers and laudrup and i was sorry to see him go.with better players at everton than wigan and a bit more money to spend think he will do well.
