Olsen had a poor game yesterday but would Pickford have done any better? The first goal, Pickford would have stayed on his line. The second, well Pickford constantly gets beat from outside the area and isn't very agile. The third, Olsen slipped but would Pickford have saved the shot? This was Olsen's first poor game, but we've had far too many with Pickford and I'd stick with Olsen.

I’m not sure how much to blame Olsen was for the goals last night. One worldy and his foot went for the other. What I did notice was how quick Gary Neville was in trying to create a narrative about how both keepers have no confidence. He Wouldn’t admit that it was a slip rather than bad footwork. Even after the game, when it was pointed out to him that his foot gave way, he couldn’t look at the camera when talking about it. Always an agenda with sky, it’s pathetic.

Thought a 2 metre tall keeper should have come to take the Rashford cross off Cavani´s head, it was on the edge of the six yard box and he could see the danger all the way. I blame him more for the first than the third.

9 times out of 10 Keane heads that away easily. He just got caught under the flight of the ball.

A better plan would probably be to stop the cross coming in in the first place...

That third goal was not a mistake, if he had not lost his footing that would have been saved.

The best goalkeepers don't lose their footing though, that's part of the job. It's like slipping when you smash a penalty over the cross bar and putting it down to an unfortunate mistake - the best don't let that happen (or at least eliminate it from being anything over than very rare). Olsen has shown too much tendency to mistakes in a short amount of game time, so he has it all to prove.

Hes been more solid than not, don't think he is the answer to our number one though, if he's not good enough for Roma is he good enough for us?
