I think Saturday proved there isn’t much between him and Pickford. Even against Leeds he almost cost us it with that stupid kick out, albeit he recovered well and made a few good saves.

...I’m no Pickford fan but I would disagree with your assessment. I would also say that ‘cheap and better than Pickford’ doesn’t mean he’s the right replacement.
Olsen needs to be sent back from whence he came, Pickford remains our no1 no1. Brands needs to find somebody better & bring them in. Surely that isn’t the most difficult challenge. It’s a big footy world out there, so no need to spend big bucks on somebody like Pope.
Brands is paid a lot of money to get these things right & Olsen isn’t the answer.
