Romelu Lukaku

Disagree for the reasons quoted and we're also moving into a period where the power of the agent is not what it was. One of the consequences of the latest uplift in revenues is that the clubs have recovered some of the ground they previously ceded to agents.

Lukaku will still be an Everton player in 2016/17 in my opinion.

Like Sterling to City???

We'll have one of the top goalscorers in the league by the end of the season. With no champions league, possible no europa league, and an even bigger chance of no cups.

So to say Lukaku will be here for some sort of loyalty or "project" or whatever reason you think, he will be first out the door.

Lukaku will become to good for us. Last season he wasn't but wow he delivered this season the second goal was pure beast mode.

We need to win the Carling cup. A medal in his bag and Europe next season and he will stay.

the only thing i can think that would keep him here and keep his agent quite, is if the new owners come in and promise to build a team around him as a focal point and pay him even more, if not he will go and i for one would expect him to for his own good.
He is having great season , stock is high at the moment and this the time to go, he is the right age ect, if he wants as he has stated before to play for a champions lg team

Don't forget about Man city, Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea.
Well I think you can definitely forget about Chelsea. No way he's going back there.

Would he be so foolish as to go to City and have to fight for a game each week?

Leaves Arsenal and Utd. He would be a good fit for both sides, though I think he'd be better used at Arsenal.

But can you see Arsenal paying what we want? I cant.

Sadly i can't see him sticking around even if we win a cup - it was champions league or bust for me.

Gutted
I'm starting to swing towards this point of view. He's stated he wanted Champions League and that's a goal quickly getting away from our grasp.

He's one of the best young centre forwards in Europe, if not the world. He's putting his heart and soul into performances without a result to match.

This impressive run of performances and goals are just highlighting his potential further, and we're now three years in without CL football.

Will be a miracle if he's here next season and we (well the manager) will only have themselves to blame. This was the season to gain success...

They paid £40m+ for Özil and £35m or Sanchez and are a club who are financially strong. If they want Lukuaku then I think they could afford him.

They're also arguably lacking a centre forward to compete for the league so it's a good fit. Still, I'm sure there'll be interest from abroad as well.

Genuinely see no way he stays this summer. How can we expect a top level striker to stay at a club where he scores 18 by new year and finds himself bottom half?

All about getting 50m+ and hopefully he goes abroad so don't have to bare him playing against us.

Well I'm a tough ass when it comes to protecting assets and if I was at Everton I would not concede a single reason for him to go.

We've taken him from being a Chelsea outcast to one of the best goalscorers in European football. Sure he has always had the talent but we've given him the platform to prove it. Lukaku is very big on integrity and that will not be lost on him.

We are a team in enormous transition. We get some semblance of normality to our defending and we're contenders. That and the prospect of new owners gives us at least one more season for him to fulfil his ambitions at Everton.

You can imagine that if he has a good euros there will be a lot of clamour for him. We can hold onto him but it will be difficult

If we sign the 3 players we need by/in summer and build out the squad i think he will stay.

Also, people saying £50mil or £60mil should aim higher. One of the top forwards in the prem who guarantees goals at 22 we'd be looking at closer / around £80mil.

Shouldnt undervalue him.
