Romelu Lukaku

Kristof Terrur was on a podcast with the Echo and was asked about Batshuayi. He said we would have to ask about him and he would favour a move to Monaco if there is a swap deal for Bakayoko. However je said we should definitely ask about him, even a loan deal.

IF we'd do a loan, it'd be pretty much a pat on the head from the big time Charlie's who have just threw lots of money to have our star striker...

And you can have this guy. If he turns out good, we'll have him back.

you mean the semi where the whole sqaud didn't show up because they wanted rid of Martinez and the fans spent the first half booing so much Barkley had to be told they weren't booing him but Martinez ? whole team was gash and the club was a mess at the time. but yes lets use it as a stick to beat Lukaku with

Not looking for an argument pal.

Don't think anyone turned up you are right, but he stilled fluffed a pen and a lot of good chances.

Just don't buy into this "born winner" rhetoric.

100% we were crap 1st half in that semi final and dominated the majority of the 2nd half. No doubt about it though, he missed some chances that game and we should have cruised to the final. He was absolutely plop and had been plop from the QF onwards.

His job is to slot and no doubt in my mind he cost us a place in the final.

Still, I hold the board accountable as well as Martinez should have been sacked 5 minutes after the Merseyside derby which I think would have given us an even greater chance of winning that semi final

Yeah, which is indicative of the whole squad and how unprofessional they were at that time, and why I wouldn't be bothered if we sold any of them, to a man.

In my years supporting Everton, I have always had favourite players, more often than not, they tend to be leaders, goalscorers, skillful players who get you out of your seat. We have, currently, Lukaku, Barkley, Mirallas, Deulofeu, all players who should be favourites, but I couldn't care less if they stay or go, and not only because they seem to be heading towards the door.

The only players in this current squad I'd be genuinely gutted to see go would be Coleman, Schneiderlin, Gueye and Davies, and I have a soft spot for Joel. A Right back signed for less than half the weekly wage Barkley is turning his nose up at, an underappreciated, over criticised second choice Goalkeeper and 3 defensive midfielders who have been in the squad for a year or less.

The rest, I'm genuinely not bothered about and most I'd actually like to see the back of.

Should be an interesting summer regardless.

Strange one this.

Conte wants to get rid of a better striker in Costa and potentially pay a world record fee for a player who is not as good ( at the mo ).

Costa must really be a total bellend to have around the team.

Think it's more to do with him wanting to go to China for a big pat day in January and Conte basically saying "you took the piss then, time to pay for that".

But he said the above in a nice Italian accent mate
