Slightly puzzled by the MOTM of the award based on his entire performance, yet I've glad he has got back on the score sheet: it'll instil confidence.

Lack of celebration for his whole? Strange one really, but could just have been an off day due to injury, sickness or other personal circumstances.

Far too early to tell if it's a sign of something negative. Still, would have liked him to celebrate but the goal itself is much more important.
I agree, he was nowhere near man of the match.

Hopefully get Niasse fit and Rom might get a chance to heal properly, not been the same since City.

Yup, he's obviously been struggling since he got that knock on his foot/ankle. The knee in the back against Newcastle probably hasn't helped either. Got a 2 week break before our next game now so hopefully he can come back refreshed and ready to beast Villa into oblivion

Well he's not exactly playing in an out and out winger role either. More like Pienaar who isn't an out and out winger. Not sure why people want to pigeon hole him into a central role. LM in the set up.
Agree, im not a fan of cleverly in the middle tbh, looks better where he is now

As you quite rightly say to early to read too much into it,just hope it's not the start of a pre-transfer sulk.

Im interested in how he does against Villa. Without going overboard,we should absolutely destroy them...

Chance for Rom to add a few goals to get the top scorer award...?

3 behind vardy and level with Kane.

Barkley also 12th on the list.

Ex-Everton striker Daniel Amokachi says that Romelu Lukaku reminds him of the former Ballon d'Or winner George Weah.

Lukaku, 22, is one of the top scorers in the Premier League this season and in July 2014 cost them a club record fee of £28 million.

Amokachi played for the club between 1994 and 1996 and was part of the team that won Everton's last trophy, the FA Cup in 1995. He told our football reporter John Bennett that Lukaku could be world class.
