to be fair, sometimes our whole team forget they are playing football. Osman looked genuinely surprised when the ball came near him at one point: I think he was having some deep thoughts about time, consciousness and the cosmos when he was rudely interrupted by the football match going on around him.

Looked frustrated and is obviously out of form.
Not sure tonight's set up suited him though, yet despite that he showed himself with back to goal on numerous occasions. Difficult to see us playing to his strengths, ball in front of him and defender to run on to is not consistent with Bobby's style.
Having said that I will take any bets on him him not scoring 20+ goals this season.

Rom is a cracking player, I just think the biggest problem is he aint got anyone challenging for his place and he knows it, you will always get alot more out of a player fighting for his place in the team. Also when counter attacking with speed it definatly suits his game better then the slower paced posession football we try, your gonna lose momentum watching it go from left to right for 10mins before even reaching attacking half
He's played himself out of form. He was awful tonight but thing is he's always liable to smash in a brace then go on a mad scoring run. Hopefully with the derby coming up he chooses his timing well.
Last season he was let off with some poor performances as the team behind him wasn't creating much. It's different this season so likewise he will be expected to push on and score more goals.
