Am I dreaming? £65m for Lukaku?! Snap their actual hand right off the adjoining wrist please. Definitely not worth that much.
Nobody, I guess a desperate PSG may, is going to pay that outside the EPL.
If we sell him to a club in England not in the CL we have no backbone.

I can actually see PSG being desperate enough to pay that and - at that point - ROM probably won't have a choice but to go there because there's little chance of the Italians or Germans paying anywhere near that for him.

Still, we hold the cards, 3 years left, all that...

to be fair to him not an everton fan scoring 25 goals team finishing 11th twice he deserves at least europa league where lucky any of our better plays will want to stay, they are not us not fans couldn't blame them and anywhere near 65 mil would be amazing

Roms a big fish in a small pond here, going to a big club he'll have to get used to sitting on the bench at times. Performances like Stoke, Southampton and Chelsea were the outliers but showed the man was unplayable when he's in the mood. He should stay at us and work on getting those performances on a consistent basis, where he's the main man and guaranteed starter. If he goes however,so be it.

Without Champions League football?

I'm not convinced we'll be able to replace him with anyone better.

This is my concern and it's worrying. Sound, we can prob pay transfer fees and a decent wage now but...well, pains me to say it, but there's not THAT much appeal to come here is there? That may well change depending on the management appointment like - (which is why it's vital that's boxed ASAP) - but to the outsider we finished 11th, have no manager and the better players are making noises to off...and who do you bring in to replace him anyway?

Imagine, billionaire owner, start season with KONE & NIASSE....stuff of nightmares that.

The MOSH's sales pitch needs to be spot on in the coming weeks, right across the board, that's fo dammmmmn sures....

PSG will lose Ibra and Cavani so they desperately need a striker. I'd guess Ronaldo is first choice but Rom will probably be a target. They spent £50m on David Luiz so pretty sure we could squeeze them for £65m.

...someone should be sitting him down goin' 'Right, honour your contract, the focus has changed here, be part of it, become a legend, go at the end of it...'

Yet when his old man says his agent will prob decide his next move then I fear he's a lost cause anyway.

Blimey, think about that, the agent will decide his next move...

Dear me.

*shakes head, puts LEONARD COHEN on, weeps for football...

It'll be alright - when we are a top four team.

Few people would turn down a "double your money" deal with a more successful company. We can only sell a dream at present and it appears neither Rom nor his agent are the dreaming type. Oh well.
