Like it or not his goals kept us up - he still has massive potential be a big loss to lose him IMO!
striker in scoring goals shocker

he scored goals? so what its his job to score goals

so did kone when he first started till he got benched

lukaku was given pens to boost his goals and he still couldnt put it in the back of the net from 12 yards out.

He knows what he's doing here.

There will be around a £25m gap between what Everton want, and whatever fees his agent has agreed with another club. The only solution is to reach a point of no return with the fans.

You'd think he'd been top scorer in the league last season, the way he goes on. It'll be funny watching do an Odemwingie on deadline day.
I think it's as good as done already judging from him and his auld fellas comments.

I fully expect him to be sold in the first few days of June.

Which is the right course of action, if he wants out and someone is prepared to pay the asking price, be gone - sooner rather than later.

Rom lad, you are guilty of believing your own (and your agents) hype.
You're a decent player and very good goalscorer BUT YOU ARE NOT BIGGER THAN EVERTON.
You will regret this decision for the rest of your career.
I hope you find a team that is a good fit for you Rom, I really do, but don't hold your breath.
Everton are entering a new and exciting era. If you don't want to stick around for the ride, then fair enough. Bye Rom.

I predict that 4 years from now I will be posting in the
'Remember when we thought Lukaku was the real deal ?' thread. Vault me!

It's not Romelu's fault he missed about 5 clear chances and a penalty in the semi, lads.
Is right.

And we watched United just about beat an ale house bum Palace side on Saturday..

That was our best chance of a trophy for years and his gash first touch and cocky, taking the ball out of Baines hands penno was ultimately why we are still potless.

Agree'd. He's not going to get away with his sh**y first touch and sloppy passing in the champions league. He's not on
The level he thinks he is and he will be a small fish in a big pond at Juv, Psg, or Bayern.

That would be ideal, but I firmly believe that almost no one will be looking at paying more £40m for him.

Not sure if the rest of europe understand the absolute feeding frenzy that will happen this summer. Too much money chasing to little talent. Players will be flying out the door from minute 1.

He scored goals with a poor creative midfield his goal tally and oh two missed pens, he sometimes created our goals from nothing not simple tap ins- yes he has weaknesses in his game but he is still young find me a replacement as good as him at that age?????
Like him or loathe him he will one day be a beast of a centre foreward in a good team will score more, RM should have been sacked after the Derby, to give us time to get a new Manager in as that performance it was embarrassing team selection before a final the performance our under 21s could have done better!

All the time RM was still manager, Baines was never ever going to be allowed to take a penalty, not a RM favourite.

with the tv money it seems clubs have an extra 90 mil for doing absolutely nowt

if one club decides they want to spent their "free" 65 mil portion of that on lukaku then it seems plausible no?

prices are going to be ridiculous this summer thats for sure

He should be realistically fined by the club for his comments when on international duty because its becoming disrespectful to the club.

It's one thing to want to move its another to openly say i know where im going next season when you're contracted for another 3 years and have no place to negotiate or demand a transfer when the club have no need to sell, his comments on Martinez were also a disgrace. Its understandable to fall out with the manager but the performances they put in at the end of the season and particularly Lukaku's attitude in the games was nothing short of embarrassing and doesn't hold him in a good light considering he like the rest of the team did absolutely nothing to show any fight for the club and the fans.

Unfortunately his goal record seems to have deluded him to how far off the elite level he actually is, for someone who apparently lives and studies football im amazed he still hasn't worked out that his first touch is horrific and he can't keep the ball when a defender goes tight with his back to goal.

I will certainly miss the potential he had and his goals did save us earlier on in the season but he's not worth the hassle and anything above 50+ million would be ridiculous to reject considering who we could replace him for not even half of that fee.
