Seriously, we actually want the same thing, CL, titles, Silverware, etc. Why totally alienate him when he could still be persuaded to stay. Now, I'm not happy with his comments & his old man, but I'd still like another 25+ goals from him next season.

I wouldn't do anything like that myself, but Twitter appears to be a platform to have your say these days. So much of it is wrong, but I don't really have any sympathy for Lukaku here. If it's racial abuse/actual abuse then it's not on, but fans venting their frustrations about him touting himself round after bottling numerous chances in key games isn't much of a problem.

He can't perform any worse than he did in the final few games of the season where he gave up on us and let the fans down along with the rest of his team mates bar Jagielka.
 

I think we still owe Chelsea a fair part of the Lukaku transfer fee...wasn't it spread over a few seasons/length of contract? So we need to get the biggest fee possible IF he goes. I think we'll give him a rise, give his dad a few shares in Russian steel, and he'll score 40 next season and win the Golden Boot.

Think his dad has done a great job of scaring potential suitors right off.

The large player purchase (actual cash flow) item in 2014/15 accounts (28mio from memory) indicates the majority of his fee was paid therein that period. I suspect the residual amount was paid in the last fin year.
 

Hope we don't persuade the silly tit to stay to be honest. If we get. 65 million for the clown I'll drive him to his new club myself.

United ain't going to buy him, I think Conte will go for Morata before Lukaku, Bayern won't spend that kind of money and that just leaves PSG. If young Karim Benzema is available as is rumoured he is absolutely nailed on to be their number one target.
