Who would people we sooner had playing up front for us? Serious question.

A striker with his goal rate is a rarity. If he could do all of the other things he's getting slated for, he would still be at Chelsea or playing for a Bayern or Madrid.

Messi. Serious answer

I like the way he is growing and maturing, comfortable in front of the TV camera too .. I believe that his enthusiasm and belief in himself & the team is genuine, just wish he'd save some of his opinions / aspirations until we've actually achieved something i.e. win a cup / league / late stages of a European competition .. because if we don't or it all falls apart he'll end up looking like a gob'hite & I would hate for that to happen.

Bit more savvy / restricted re: the press please .. remember they have their own agenda.

Everton's Romelu Lukaku is one of several Belgian players to have done a hefty interview with Belgian magazine Le Vif. The Everton player has got into the swing of things this season and is helping Roberto Martinez drag the Toffees up the table. However, Lukaku has never made any secret of his desire to play Champions League football quickly. Even the most ardent Everton fans would concede that's going to be hard for the club to achieve soon, and so Lukaku will often be linked with an exit, especially given that it's something he's encouraged himself.

Lukaku was asked by Le Vif which managers he'd want to work with. The Everton player replied "Mourinho is one.Guardiola and Wenger. In this order." It may come as a surprise to some that Lukaku chose Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho as his first pick, given the supposed fall-out between the two whilst the striker was with the London club. Wanting to play for Pep Guardiola is no surprise, and the Arsene Wenger comment could raise a few eyebrows. Arsenal could certainly do with a striker of Lukaku's class and the Belgian may be providing a hint to Wenger, perhaps without even intending to.

Everton would be incredibly difficult to deal with. The Merseyside club are excellent at keeping their players, as they have proven with Leighton Baines and John Stones. Everton will not be bullied, Karim Benzema may even be easier, and cheaper, to get.
