Romelu Lukaku

Firminho hasn't scored in 8 games for the RS but I don't see them wishing they had sterling or sturridge in the starting 11. Lukaku will be playing for a west ham or Turkish club within 3 years.
Firminho scored on Saturday mate.
Just saying like.

The hate for lukaku is staggering

He is on course to be the second highest premier league goal scorer of all time by the age of 30.

So were Fowler, Owen, Smith etc and yet Shearer STILL sits on top of the pile and will continue to do so until a truly all round goalscorer knocks him off the perch. Lukaku and Kane are the only two at present who can try but both have tendencies to have goal droughts or go missing in games when needed most. That's not being hateful, it's basic observations based on seeing the former play for both us and United the past 5 seasons

fowler and owen had injury problems early on in their career and i dont know which smith your on about.
He can be lazy and has a poor touch, but his goal scoring record for club or country speaks for itself.

Shearer during Blackburn's title winning season was different class.
Genuinely the perfect striker for me he was at that time.
Andy Cole was a boss, boss slotter, but Shearer had the absolute lot.

Alan Smith when he broke through at Leeds, was being talked up at the same level as Owen and Fowler. Fowler's injury problems weren't bad when he was first coming through, it was the knee injury in the Derby that done him, same with Owen and the hamstring injury he got at Leeds. Lukaku has a good record but if he cut out the laziness, improved the first touch and sacked off the off pitch nonsense then his record would be so much better

Shearer was my absolute hero when I was younger, used to mimic his celebration when playing football on the school yard

Shearer was the most complete striker I have seen, had it all. Equally though remember being so disappointed when I first saw him live for the first time in the 95 game when they went 2 up straight away with Barrett starting as CB, came out as young lad thinking what a cheat he was.
