Romelu Lukaku

I think Rom was a great striker for us, his record and the fee United paid speaks volumes. I too "enjoyed" the "fatty" chant as an Everton fan who didn't want to see him play well against us. He always came across as an intelligent man who the other players seemed to like. He obviously isn't fat, but seems to have spent too long in the gym and is over muscled and too bulky. It is a shame if Sunday has spoilt his memories of Everton - deleting his photos etc as generally old players have good feelings towards us and speak fondly of their time here and I think that is a good thing

It's his own fault. If he's that intelligent he will realise why we dont like him.

But he would stroll into our team some reckon...... absolute fraud. Hilarious reading the Manc fans tweets - they can't wait to get rid.

Thing is we made him look good, not the other way around, and UTD, who have been shcoking the market for a few years got sucked in.

Big Rom's a boss slotter...but does anyone else think he's looking very cumbersome around the field. He falls over his feet a lot as well. I genuinely feel his Everton days will be seen as the pinnacle (scoring-wise) of his career. Golly, he was boss back in his dread-locks days...

rather than motivate him to improve his all round game, playing for united seems to have really exposed his weaknesses. i guess "wanting to play for a top club" needs to be backed up by a top club mentality and rom just doesn't have that, despite his proclivity to mouthing off to the press.
