Yup, we need to pull out all the stops, if we do sign him, there is a very good chance we can make the CL in the next few seasons. He's a proven goal scorer at the age of 20. He can lead the line on his own, he can drag entire defenses out of shape, leaving the other attacking players with great opportunities. Kinda like the way Suarez makes it far easier for Sturridge. I wouldn't usually recommend breaking the bank on one player and relying on loans/frees to fill the other positions but in this case I think it makes sense.
 
He could form a potent partnership with Nais. Them two have linked up really well recently. The interplay for McCarthy's goal was brilliant. I'm really starting to like Naismith in the No10 position

i posted back in this thread i was 100% convinced but as above his link up play with naismith hitting a golden patch has paid off. If we sign him maybe just maybe him and naismith could form a a deeper understanding.

well be league champs by christmas ffs make it happen :) :)
