Ronald Koeman discussion

not every single available player was at the euro's. or are we only going to sign europeans? those 5 weeks would have been invaluable to koeman, to get his back room team sorted, establish targets etc etc.

funny how man city managed to tie up big deals before , during and after the euro's. thats how we should of attacked it.

something is going on at board room level. the complete lack of any real business thus far is completly detrimental to our upcoming season.
Mate were a mid table premier league side be it declining in performance. It will take time to convince the players we need to come to us - the last week of the window is when the majority of these deals are done. As for city different world to us.

Let's all be patient and give the owner and the manager time to get things

I fully expect quality signings that will move the club forward, I have said in a previous post we are ambitious but the players we are going for are sitting tight in the hope bigger and better will come their way.

As with any manager first season will always be a transition period, I think we are seeing an approach of getting it right first time.....deadline day will be interesting

Manager, yes, no problem.

The owner? No chance - sorry, but he's had all the time he needs to prove he's messed up this window at the very least, and enough time to justify at least the suspicion that he's a fraud.

He may be real and sign players shortly, but it's already too late - his first pre-season as owner of this club is a huge black mark on him no matter what now.

Stones was always off anyway, so I doubt the money that was (allegedly) there was entirely from Farhad's personal account. Then there's the Tv moolah...As well as the freeing up of wages from players who've left.
I think we are where we were under Kenwright, by and large.

If Moshiri this summer had put a viable and likely to happen stadium scheme in front of us then I suppose the matter might look differently in regards to priorities. But we are, with the best will in the world, miles off that objective.

Well get names in by September! no question. But I doubt were looking at a game changer in Moshiri, tbh.

Jesus this window has weeks to run - you can't judge now. We do not buy players for the opening day but for 9 months and as already quoted were not yet were the top players want to play. Steady progress is needed imo min2 years before we could realistically target top 4.

Totally disagree, I'll judge this window when it shuts.

I'm happy enough with the team that started yesterday starting the season, it's a much better 11 than any we put out last season, and I'd rather get our top targets than panic and accept 2nd best.

Although I do expect signings this week anyway.

A) the things Moshiri said he would do he has done and B) What excuses? I haven't heard Koeman make one excuse about anything

this post alone is why I think I need to take a brake from this forum, the whole fraud shouts are just embarrassing and why we as fans don't deserve good things sometimes, anyway enjoy being constantly negative

What seems more likely to you mate?

It is a hard sell for us to convince the higher calibre player to join, but if the pieces fall into place, then ok.
I can understand frustration at lack of signings 'right here, right now', but am prepared to see what happens.
I'm glass half full, so optimistic and would rather get players for the next few seasons, than the next few games.
