RK - I have yet to see his team put in a convincing 90 minutes in any game where I thought my he's got this high pressing game going -only v Spurs , and Arsenal did I see it for 80% - Liverpool 45 minutes
The football is so uncreative the goal keeper he signed for now the third time had a good start and has deteriorated - Robles looks far better two clean sheets = 6 points
he prefers to play oldies instead of youngsters we lack pace - Bollassie when fit looks a headless chicken costing far too much - we are 7th its a miracle with the football RK has turned out - His team selections give you the feel we are up against it before we run out onto the pitch - the first 45 minutes v a weakened Leicester team was so dire it reminded me of worse than the Walter Smith days -imo he inherited an ok squad of players with a good youth set up he needs to use it until he can buy maybe his style of players - contracts to older players is also baffling too suggesting the funds may not be there in the future or we have to sell our better players as per usual!

Joey it sounds like you don't want to allow any transition. Can you tell us what youngsters he hasn't given game time to are good enough to be selected? We may on the the surface have a good youth set up but is that because of the position the U23's are in. Maybe the other clubs have most of there youngsters out on loan hence weakened U23's...I don't know! Maybe that international cup tournament that we bombed out of has given us a better yard stick to measure them! Just maybe the oldies are more reliable than the youngsters at this moment!
The only thing I know is transition is usually up and down and when we were in a downward spiral he turned to a defensive set up as Moyes always used and try to nick goals. Bolasie was as inconsistent as anyone but he is a good player. Forget the fee we paid and compare him to the rest and he isn't as bad as half of them. The fee is always used as a measuring stick yet we all know to get him we had to pay well over the odds. Still reckon Bolasie was bought with Kukakus approval and recommendation. Have patience Joey...you did with Kendall didn't you?

Transition this guy is on 6 million per year - yes he may need time, but performances at Leicester and others have made me wince - no shots at goal in that first half - utter dire - versus a poor weakened team we lack pace lets hope taking Barry off was his eyes opening as Tom Davis did more in 5 minutes that CAPTAIN Barry did in 60 minutes !
Ross came on and for the first time we passed the ball kept the ball as we had 3 midfielders of pace and class?
why can he not see this?
The fact is he fetched the right players on is a start imo as they should have started!
Now beggars the big question what team selection V Hull - as his team selections baffle most blues fans the groans on here and imo the have a right on his team selections defensive midfielders etc , a dutch keeper who has dodgy knees who was useless at Fulham signed for the third time by RK if he slots back in watch this space!

I don't see how his wages should change the fact that we were always going to be in a transition season, that's normally what happens when you get a new manager in.

His team selections may baffle you, doesn't mean it baffles most people. And yes the football isn't great, but he's working with a team that was disfunctional at best for months before he came in.

I can't get my head around people's impatience

Fair point , but by now I feel we should be seeing seeds of optimism like we did in RM first season, and on here the groans of his team selections are there to see!
Remember this manager does not hang around he inherited a very good side at Southampton - this side was not too bad and he strengthened it kept our leading goal scorer who feeds on scraps this season 10 goals so he has to get it right, saying lukaku was to good for everton was mystifying to me as without him we would be in dire trouble!

People moan about everything on here mate, I don't think GOTs reaction is that good a barometer ;)

I think there are optimistic signs, we're winning games without playing particularly well and on course for a respectable league finish. I'm looking forward to who we get in next month.

Its every game almost in bold I feel it is a good barometer playing older or injured defensive midfielders, or a keeper who ships goals in - it took till the 89th minute to draw v Swansea at home who have been getting tonked lately/
you are right about getting results by playing below any style of form which may be a plus sign for the future;)

I think quite a lot posters agree all the Koeman (except Valencia) are good signings who serve the purpose.

Why lol at Bolasie? Was the best winger before he is injured. Yea we overpaid him but it is not just a waste of money like Niasse.

Behind Niasse, Bolasie is probably the clubs worst ever signing.
