Ronald Koeman discussion

That's a good point tbf. I think if you took a straw poll of what people expected at the start of the season, it would be 7th on the nose. The inconsistency of performance is probably the source of peoples' frustration
To me the inconsistencies have a lot to do with opposition, fitness and players not being complete enough for the system. Koeman generally makes strong in game adjustments as shown by our generally better second half performances. Our fitnessed has improved but many of our weren't brought in for a system that was not nearly as active. Many of our wingers/forwards simply were not picked up for their energy or ability to press which really limits both our chance creation and our defensive solidity

There's a good video about what we are doing to try and close the same gap. It's tough but for us it largely comes down to getting through this transitional period and into the new stadium. Match-day income really can make a large difference, as well as the sponsorship deals that come with it all. Much of this video is relevant for Everton as well I would imagine as you will need to find a way to do something similar.

That was superb.

RK - I have yet to see his team put in a convincing 90 minutes in any game where I thought my he's got this high pressing game going -only v Spurs , and Arsenal did I see it for 80% - Liverpool 45 minutes
The football is so uncreative the goal keeper he signed for now the third time had a good start and has deteriorated - Robles looks far better two clean sheets = 6 points
he prefers to play oldies instead of youngsters we lack pace - Bollassie when fit looks a headless chicken costing far too much - we are 7th its a miracle with the football RK has turned out - His team selections give you the feel we are up against it before we run out onto the pitch - the first 45 minutes v a weakened Leicester team was so dire it reminded me of worse than the Walter Smith days -imo he inherited an ok squad of players with a good youth set up he needs to use it until he can buy maybe his style of players - contracts to older players is also baffling too suggesting the funds may not be there in the future or we have to sell our better players as per usual!

Sorry mate, utter rubbish there, reminded you of Walter simth, just behave, absolutely ridiculous statement from someone old enough to remember that.

Remind me btw, we are that terrible, how many times have we been beaten clearly this season, how many clear chances did a rs team and a United team who are both in amazing runs create, how many did an arsenal side unbeaten since first game of the season create?

Plays the oldies does he, ok, want me to show how badly wrong that is by comparing his use of under 23 players in the team already in conparisiob with both moyes and Martinez in a similar number of games into there tenures?

Oh and to top off your utterly absurd post is the sly dig at the new owner.

We lack pace, but you just love to slag off bolasie, was he slow mate, or was he brought in to provide us with pace?

Upset you then by any chance?

Nah mate, but comparing this season to under Smith, Jesus, really need an agenda to do that. We lose next time your go a compare it with walker?

As for the bolasie stuff, wow...
That first half on saturday v leicester the team he put out the performance wow it was so bad 45 minutes not a shot on target - my older brother stated its not as bad as Walters days just yet but he reckons the 2nd half papered over the cracks as we had some plus notes in Robles Tom davies and Ross looked hungrier so lets see how we do at Hull;)
