Ronald Koeman discussion

3-3 in fact, but irrelevant to the point really.
Plus, Koeman's S'ton side played with loads of intensity.

He just didn't inherit a shambles and actually had a very good first window.

Let's give him more time - the signs have certainly been there in the last few weeks that some of these players are finally getting it.

Wasn't saying we should sack Koeman.

But you know that.

Who was it on here the other week absolutely ridiculing the idea of Eddie Howe as next manager. Bournemouth play with a pace and intensity that we can only dream of.

I think he'll be the man once Ron gets the boot/ups sticks for someone like Galatasaray.
He's great for Bournmouth, it's his club where he's happy and where he belongs. There are far more ambitious appointments we could and hopefully will make if and when our Dutch maester moves on. Howe smacks of small time parochialism, Kenwright doesn't make the appointments any more.

You said when he inevitably gets the boot/goes to Gala...

But okay, you didn't say he should be sacked soon, no.

And I do kind of agree, he may make a good choice after Koeman's tenure... If he's sorted out how to defend. You know, we've been there, got the T-shirt etc.

Never used the word 'inevitable'. He may be here more than 3 years, but I don't think too many expect that.

I was certainly one of the people ridiculing the idea of Eddie Howe being our next boss and I will continue to do so because it's an absolutely ludicrous suggestion. Eddie Howe is simply the latest managirial flavour of the mouth for the footballing hipsters. He's totally unproven outside of his comfort zone in Bournemouth were he has zero expectations from the media, the fans or the club itself. He's never had to deal player power because at Bournemouth if you cross Howe you'll be the one out on your ear. Howe is the star at Bournemouth. He's a big fish in a miniscule pond just like Mike Walker and Roberto Martinez were before coming here and both of those clowns had more success then Howe has ever had.

Well, taking Bournemouth into the PL and keeping them up comfortably is arguably a much bigger achievement than either Walker or Martinez managed I think...

But, I kind of agree with the principle.

If he goes on to establish Bournemouth over the next 2 seasons as a PL team then by all means, he'll have proved himself though.

As you said, struggled badly at Burnley as well.

Think Bournemouth were 22nd in League 2 when he took over. You have to say that's better than 'flavour of the month'.

Your other points may well be correct, only time will tell I suppose.
