Ronald Koeman discussion

Who is the "old guard"? Baines? Coleman? Jags? Barry? Kev? In other words, where does the rot stop?
Jags and Barry shouldn't play again for the club. Miralles isn't consistent enough and can't be relied upon (the same could be said for many in the side). Baines hasn't been the same since his terrible ankle injury (although I thought he was one of our better players today) although I'd keep him as a squad player. Coleman definitely shouldn't be sold.
Of the first team players at the club, I'd only consider Coleman, Williams, Gana, bolasie and lukaku in managers plans for the future starting 11.

Can blame Martinez for a lot of things but not the summer transfer window. Funds were made available, RK admitted he wanted 3 keepers and we ended up with 2 number 2 keepers. The failure or lack of interest in an available joe hart was staggering.

Oh yes mate, soz, agree with all that, my point being it's a prob that's needed addressing for an 'effin' age. My understanding via a reliable was that HART was keen to come here also...baffling really.

Because Walsh is the DoF he's the transfer man.

Koeman gives his requirements, Walsh finds the players, tells Koeman who's available, then starts negotiations, advises the board of what they'd cost and what not to pay and what is fair price.

Everton have always been slow as anything at getting deals done, unless it's transfer deadline day. If Schneiderlin fits Koeman's requirements and is available at £24m, Moshiri can provide the money, but Walsh is telling them that's too much and to go at £19m then of course Koeman is going to be pissed at him. And annoyed with the board that they're not getting the players he require to improve the squad.

Lookman to me seems like a Walsh signing, Schneiderlin is a Koeman signing, he's worked with him before he knows what he'll bring to the team.
So who in your opinion is Koeman specifically blaming here - the board or walsh?

I'll be blatantly honest here, I never wanted Joe Hart. But that's because I was sure ANOTHER keeper would be coming in instead and I thought he was overrated considerably. Completely clear upgrade on what we have for sure.

The fact NOBODY came in still gives me strokes to this day.

Joe Hart demanded to be no1. You cant guarantee that to anyone.
Thats why.

He has no excuse..... We beat them away comfortably on Boxing Day without him. He's spouting BULL
We got very lucky. We created 0 chances except for a hoof down the middle that somehow ran through for a goal. Wasn't a good performance
Edit: Obviously the second goal too but that was after Leicester had given up defending chasing the game

TBF to RK hart wages may have been far to much one suspects!
