West ham did well because of payet who made the difference Liverpool ended 8th in the league last year now thats an achievement! And southampton did well in the first year when Koeman was there so what are you trying to say?? You have to look at the players. If he finishes 7th with this squad he's done a great job.

I am looking at the players.

I like them.

I have no resentment toward them for how much money they make nor do I believe I own their time because I am a fan of the club they happen to play for right now.

I think they are very good at football.

I reject they are any more lazy than any other group of players in a similar tax bracket.

Koeman is far more over paid than any player (okay not Gibson but most of them).

Many of them have finished 5th or higher in the league, been to semis or better of Cups.

I roundly reject your and Koeman's claim that this group of players are under talented and that 7th with this squad is a great job.

I think everyone is being manipulated to turn on the players for a reason and that reason is to cover up failures in the transfer market and failures by the manager to get this team playing good football.

I don't think any are massively superior, but some are comparable? West Ham, Leicester, Crystal Palace possibly Stoke are similar to ourselves on paper?

Our main problem is that the three players behind Lukaku aren't good enough. They don't create enough and they don't score. Our defensive record is fine but no one other than Lukaku and our defenders score.

Compare this with the teams in the top 6 and it's no wonder we are 7th.

Of those, only Leicester (Vardy) and Palace (Benteke) have consistent goalscorers.

Leicester have the champs league and Palace have lost Benteke to injury.

I'd say even if we include them,7-9th with us being favourites for 7th.
