Ronald Koeman discussion

Well I should hope so. If he does then he'll be drawing the right conclusion. Just a pity we lashed £24m away that could have been put toward buying a top lock picker.

Well you could wait and see if we buy the attacking option on top of that CM before you slate the money spent or the option to sign Schneiderlin.

I'm not exactly Koemans biggest fan but I don't think its a totally outlandish decision by him to sign somebody for the base of midfield. Most fans would only pick Gana out, of the collection of possible CMs he was left with, as somebody they'd chose as a definite week in week out starter in there. No we will have Gana and Morgan and a couple decent backups it seems.

Bit more balance needed in the criticism.

I asked you few months ago that #will you give Koeman a chance? Because I knew you will go against the mainstream. You said that ofcourse you will give him time to show what he has got. You lied. Even 14 year old knows you cant judge top manager after few months. You have become way too obvious.
In what way have I lied? I've stood out amongst his critics (and I'm still one because he's done nothing to persuade me over 21 games he's a big deal) for not clamouring for him out.

Same as yesterday for me: he has until this time next season to get us competitive for at least a top 5 spot. We are miles off....no disgrace in that now this season of course, but it will be a different matter this time next season having spent big.

It will work, hows any team in the league gonna cope with Rom, Dafodil, Deeps, Ross Barks and SuperKev running at them doing mad tings?

Forget the past, the era of tiki taka is over.
Kev back in form is a massive boost. We know what he can do and city looked terrified of him today.

Then they've got the rest of the gang to worry about...it's looking much better.

This is but a taste of what will come under Koeman. These results started to become more frequent during his time at Southampton.

We are back. This isn't knee jerk. Top 4 challenge next season? With more additions absolutely a possibility. Bedding in his tactics and players - starting to see results. We made mince meat of Merseyside vs Manchester. Pace, power, precision. The giant has awoken from its slumber.

Got it bang on today in all aspects. Got to carry it on now. We have a favourable run of fixtures between now and the end of Feb, absolutely got to make the most of it.

Also lolling at the phrase 'it's easy to play against city'. Classic

Look where we are mate. We will remain there BECAUSE we can't get any traction from playing these hard working teams with our own version of hard work.

You pile up the points against teams like that by pinning them back and playing a killer pass at the right moment. Then they open up and you score for fun.

That is a dimension we don't have. We need to get it or we'll be just the best of the rest and be left with nothing other than whooping it up like we've won a trophy after beating one of the *big teams*.

Might have been posted already but what if RK pulled a bit of psychology on the team this week saying that some of them know they have no future here.

Just speculating but he may not have said anything to them about their individual futures but simply broadcast the idea and left each of them thinking "Crikey...wonder if he means me.....better go out and play my heart out on Sunday."

After some of the lacklustre performances in recent months, masterstroke if so....just saying.

Mate, I don't think even the top four clubs have as decent a CM group of players as we had before signing Schneiderlin. It was a luxury we don't require.
