We are a bit crap against the so called smaller teams so i'm not counting any chickens.
Been a good few years we've struggled to break down teams who sit back and break on us. Like we did to City yesterday.
No playmaker no party

Zabaleta in CM? .
Yet he trusted his judgement and our players and got our best result and performance in years.
Remember when Bobby wanted to turn Baines into a midfielder? Must be in the blood.Yeah, had a good old chuckle when I saw that. Guardiola trying too hard
How many times has this been said over the last few seasons only for Everton to mess it up. These are exactly the sort of games we've been poor in under Koeman. Chelsea apart, our form against the top teams has been ok.
Oh, and if anyone starts a "points by the end of February" thread I say ban him for a year. Lets just take every game as it comes and pray we get a bit more consistency going.

Main reason Koeman got one over on Pep is a difference in pragmatism:
- Ron puts round pegs in round holes.
- Pep has an assortment of whacky holes and just carves his pegs to fit into the holes with varying degrees of success.
Zabaleta in CM? You having a laugh mate.
hahaha we proved yesterday how much rubbish bobby spouted !!!Remember when Bobby wanted to turn Baines into a midfielder? Must be in the blood.
City had David Silva playing yesterday, one of the best play-a-makers in the game + 70% possession, how did that work out for them?
Ronko adding a cultured no. 10 to the ranks would give us other options but it's not necessarily the answer. Sometimes you've just got to outwork and outfight the teams that sit back, basically just beat them in to submission.
No? Wasn't that just a load of lads on here brainfarting?
Afraid not.No? Wasn't that just a load of lads on here brainfarting?
Just to confirm, Arsenal this season? It was our best 90 minute performance I can remember in the last few years. Arsenal was the most enjoyable though, blood and thunder and barely legal challenges. And what an ending. Reminded me why I hate and love Everton
