I'm a nobody who barely posts on here, so my opinion shouldn't be worth much. Honestly, though, he makes the board unreadable. I've barely logged in here the past few weeks because every thread is the exact same thing, over and over, in almost every thread. Difference of opinion is fine but the repetitiveness of it all I can do without. I'm sure I'm not alone.

Koeman is boss, just to keep this somewhat on topic.

I've been on here for a fair amount of time now and i just treat davek like an art project. Most modern art is in a sense a little ugly, but if you try hard to appreciate its' qualities it turns out alright.

I probably havent helped but it does make it interesting from a forum perspective.

At the end of the day there's only one champion and 3 other champions league places with 6 teams that spend as much/more than us. Progress has been made considering we were shipping 3 against Bournemouth and we at least look solid now, regardless of how poor we are picking up points, style can come after we recover from the footballing Aleppo we had become.

Anyway, the 6 now are miles better than what we had to compete with those three years ago.

We finally look like a team with a plan on how to play. Since he's started Davies and moved to the 3 cbs we've been much more aggressive in our play but also look solid at the back. Chuffed to bits to say I was wrong about him, we just seemed to be going the way of the long ball merchants. Still early days but the performances since the arsenal game excluding the cup and the [Poor language removed] game have been really good and the signings he's made have already largely made an immediate impact. Come on Everton win these next 3 or 4 games and we'll be right up there.

You're setting up a straw man.

What you actually don't want is a critique of a manager who, after playing some of the worst examples of hoofball seen at Goodison, richly deserves critiquing or the perfectly valid criticism that he's ended our season on January 7th this year.

Personally Dave i don't think any criticism is justifiable in his first season, observatoins i will accept. He was left a shambles, an ill disciplined un-fit squad. These issue's had to be addressed first, he then had to impose on the squad how he required them to play. All this he has put in place in 6 months. To get any higher in the league will take some considerable investment and time

One thing that was disappointing was starting on the back foot again on the road. Things evened out at about the 15 minute mark and we controlled much of the second half, but we've got to get past the slow starts.

Pleased to say I've always been a Koeman backer and think he needs at least 2-3 seasons before we start requesting/expecting CL football. His starting point was way too far behind the top 6.

Yeah that is a concern we seem so uninterested almost at kick off and almost lose the game within the first 10 minutes. Just looked at our next 4 games if we can get a good haul of points from 4 very winnable games with the teams above us all playing each other we could be sitting very nice going into March.

Just to confirm I don't have a clue if the M1 leads anyone to Watford, I'm just assuming the M1 leads everyone to wherever they have to get to at some point in a car journey

I'm making the point that even with his best shot we can't make it to a CL spot under him. Simple as that.

But with coaches like Mourinho and Guardiola we would be contenters for top 4!!! They're struggling with man utd and man city to be in top 4 and they spend 300 million on players you utter joke.
