Ronald Koeman discussion

Koeman went with proven and it backfired, Davies should have been in this team months ago!
He was shamed into playing some of our younger players, that is the truth of the matter. He got an almighty kick in the bollocks after his last comment about players from that age group not being ready.

Koeman got away with that tripe at a pony club like S'ton where he ruled the roost while their fans and people behind the scenes looked on meekly; he wont get away with that here. And now he knows it.

*giggle*

Ronny hates the kids.

Main thing that's happened: Gueye leaves for AFCON > Davies is slotted in as Koeman's hand is forced > Barkley gets the benefit of Davies and starts bossing games.

More by accident than design.
Have to pretty much agree although I will add that I think the Watford game was a turning point in this regard. In my opinion it's hard to argue against this when you had Koeman coming out a few weeks ago and saying none of the young players, including Davies were ready.

Playing Davies because of Gueye's omission; playing Holgate because Jagielka's legs have exploded.

We know how it was supposed to go here: like at S'ton...which is what Koeman was indicating would happen.

The fact you see a plan should be the source of any giggling around here. Lol.

Stay strong Dave.

A plan?

I see a flexible manager, a manager who has been willing to give everybody a chance in the last 6months, a manager who doesnt have "favourites", a manager who keeps players in the team on merit, a manager willing to give the kids their chance in the first team and retains them when they take their chance, a dark knight, a silent protector, Ronny K.

Come on. Gueye was our best player the first half of the season. Losing him was no 'happy accident'. Koeman has also had to cope with the long-term loss of his record signing.
He started off very well. I didn't think he acquitted himself that well in the last few months, tbh. Davies was well worth a run out either alongside him as a replacement for Barry or in place of Gueye.

Bolassie's absence has simplified things and got us playing a bit better. that feller was a massive waste of money.
