I know. But i don't want Martinez taking credit for the 2nd 11th. That fraud had us 13th. So we've improved a place a month. That'll do for me.I was talking about Everton Ian.

Pretty sure he does a bit of both mate. Makes a change. A nice change.

You're easily pleased, tbf.I like it when Everton win games, hes making Everton win games.
Hes currently on course to be everything I expected him to be, I was hoping for European football this season and a pop at the top 4 next season, im not demanding European football this season, it was always going to be hard coming off the back of 2x11th place finishes, but ok.
I have realistic expectations and hes doing enough to make me happy.

The "journey back" doesn't involve going from 11th to 7th mate.I am David.
I consider myself to be a realist, I realise how far we have fallen and I realise how hard and how long the journey back will be.
Its going to take longer than 9 months, 11th to 7th in the first season is very acceptable progress, next season I will be expecting a little more, but expecting, not demanding.

It's a rubbish league beyond about 5 clubs and we're 7th.
I strongly disagree.
The 6 clubs currently above us are in a different league, with regards the level of their projects.

We need try and bridge the gap off the pitch and also on the pitch.
We need Morgans, not Toms.

This is the third time I seek your opinion on this. Are you happy with your hero Martinez coming back if Koeman leaves one-day? Because you rate RM and think he is an almost perfect manager.
Spending doesn't make a great team. We've broken through into that lot about half the seasons over the past decade.
There will be money, it'll be ring fenced from the stadium scheme. We have yes, but sadly, for whatever reason, we have just spent the last 2 seasons going backwards.
So this season was all about stopping the rot, getting back to our steady ground of "best of the rest", then hopefully in the summer we kick on and break through that "glass ceiling" we always felt was holding us back under Moyes.
If this Iranians got the dough.............
