Ronald Koeman discussion

2nd time in 4 days that RonK has gotten decisions wrong. On tonight's game, if you are sitting deep then it is basic tactics that you must have an outlet to relieve pressure so the lads at the back can talk and keep their shape.
Recreating the Alamo in a football match is a never a good idea. RonK has got some making up to do.

The fault lies with the current and previous manager for this IMO.

Our attacking options all fall under a mix of these categories - young, inexperienced, crap, average, headless chicken or no footballing brain. You can take one or two of any of those for all our attackers.

It annoys me that we have no footballing nous and experience in that final third after 8 windows under two managers.

I'd like to kick them both in the balls for this glaring error.
I think we just need to pay Swansea the 30 mil for sigurddson

he could be that player that unlocks defences for us with his brain

may even teach barkley a thing or two and improve him

7th in his first year, likely back in Europe, team has gotten better as the year has gone. Very good first season as much as we could have expected. Our development will be a process rather than an event.

Yep, can't really argue with it being a good season if it stays this way. He's had 2 transfer windows and will have this summer window (hopefully getting a load of dosh to boot) so next season will be the one where he'll be under more pressure/scrutiny, especially if he does spend big in the Summer.

I honestly thought Holgate would be better than he has been offensively. He doesn't have nearly the same guile in the position as Coleman does and it is hurting us in that sense. He has a good pass on him and he is good with the ball; it just seems like he doesn't know what to do with it in that position.

You've got to give him some time to develop the attacking side when he's playing in an unfamiliar position. Coleman never used to be as good as he is now when he was less experienced.

I've liked it, but in reality, I'm going to cry, bitch, whinge and moan unless we finish above one of Spur, City, Utd, RS, United or Arsenal. I'll type loads if words on here to prove my dissatisfaction with the club.

I honestly haven't seen enough of him to say if he would be the key. I do watch a lot of La Liga and every bloody team has at least a couple of options in the squad that know how to perform some kind of Silva/Mata impression to varying levels.

My self loathing has nothing to do with it and I thank you for not bringing it up in the future.

I like Koeman but his decision making these past two games has been poor.

In my opinion.
We were 30 seconds and a left back taking a right foot volley away from winning at OT, which would've been our managers 3rd victory there in the bounce.

Nobody is perfect.
