We haven't finished best of the rest, we're 7th not 5th.

After a disastrous start, I'm happy we turned it around and are comfortably 7th, next season we need to kick on again.

I wouldn't call it 'a lot' better. Marginal improvement this season. We are lucky things played out they way they did to qualify for Europe.

Could not score or win at home last season. We look much better this term and I think Ron is improving us. Give him time and we can improve more.

The fact that I enjoy going the match again to me makes it vastly superior to the last two season's. If you don't win the cup the runs themselves mean jacks##t. Those four places that you just dismiss make a hell of a difference to a lot of us.

Overall I am happy that we have Koeman, some of his decisions I find mystifying but what do I know, the business houses league was my level, I am sure our Dutch Ruler knows more about footy than me. I hope he stays to see the job through.

For what it is worth I found Martinez to be a dreamer and a fantasist and I am sure the players saw through him in the end.

16 wins versus 10 in the league after 35 games is a lot better.
