No problem I just Like aPoint of view - RK average stay at any club is only 3 years!Joey yours is a kneejerk reaction to a poor request in a nothing game. Hundreds like you on here mate so I'm sorry to have singled out your post.
yes he is totally crap - he could have just passed that message on to BK and Moshri a young lad could have had the 20 minutes! You know Kone was brought on to prove a point to Moshiri, right?
I think it's more likely that Kone was brought on to prove a point to Kone .....You know Kone was brought on to prove a point to Moshiri, right?
What's this champions league comment that Dave is banging on about in another thread? Was he talking about this season or in general when he said it was unrealistic?
I took it as unrealistic in the sense that the squad we currently have isn't a CL challenging squad, i.e we need a stronger better quality strength in depth
Woolly posted the quote in context in the Progress thread. He is only talking about this season, thankfully
You know Kone was brought on to prove a point to Moshiri, right?
I'm a big Koeman fan, it will be interesting to see what is demanded of him next season.
He is being paid £7m per season, one of the biggest salaries in world football, would another 7th place finish and no trophy be acceptable?
I think next season we will truly see the ambitions of the board.
If he is not backed by the board we will get 7th again. It does not matter how much he earn. You give Conte or Jose this Everton squad there won't be much difference regarding the final league position.

I didn't like the way he conducted himself when he left Southampton. Saying he wasn't going to go then only going for the £6m. It shows a lack of loyalty. At Chelsea when he put Kone A on it was very obvious to me that he wanted to send a message to the new owners that he needs a new striker. He's letting down the fans badly since we've finished 7th with his weird choices (Steklenberg over Robles, Barkley on the bench etc) and I doubt Moyes would have done something so snide. He's done well for his first season but I just can't say I trust him or like him like Moyes and even Martinez was more likeable even though he unfortunately failed to deliver.
I think Moyes and Martinez had their snide moments as well.Moyes acted like a proper snide after he went off to Man United!Martinez was a snide with Leighton Baines last year. The main issue i would have is that im not sure that Koeman has realised how special a club Everton is yet.I just have this feeling that he see's us as another name on his CV.Obviously his affinity for Barcelona is understandable but i don't like seeing the manager of Everton football club fawning over other clubs saying how special they are when he already is at a special club!Perhaps im being harsh. He is gradually improving Everton and i hope that when Koemans time with us is over. That he will realise the meaning of Alan Ball's saying that once Everton has touched you nothing is the same.
