Oh I thought you were hoping we were hoping it was announcing we had signed him ?Yes? What's the Sigurdsson crap got to do with me being excited for the first presser of the season tomorrow.

My apologiesNoooo just his normal pre-match presser. Always pumps me up for the game.
I love Koeman but as with Martinez the buck stops with the manager, how he has let us go into the new season with the strikers we have is scandalous.

I'm not sure we can really say who is to blame. The board would obviously expect to be given a few realistic targets by Koeman and Walsh and then go and negotiate to get one of them. Koeman has made it clear he wants a striker, but we don't know whether one has been identified or whether they are realistically attainable.Erm.....yeah.....Koeman stating he wants a striker - in public - and the board not delivering one is Koeman's fault? Strange logic that.
It'd be great if we had at least one CM who wasn't afraid to take on a man and beat him regularly. The football has been too pedestrian with very little movement around the park. There has been a glimmer of hope as Rooney and Klaassen have struck up an 'understanding' but the others need to be prepared to move into space. If a team presses us it ends up going back to the keeper, because the movement in front is not quick enough from too many players, and then hoofed down field. Maybe Sigurdsson is the answer because he is good at moving into space to then move the ball on. But Sneiderlin is having too many touches as is Baines when it goes to him. The football needs to be slicker with quick passing and movement. That is up to Koeman to sort out.
