7th would be a very disappointing season.
With this mess of a squad, 7th would absolutely not be disappointing.

@Neiler Posted on the rs thread that we were unlucky not to beat a Man City team, that destroyed our neighbours yesterday at their place.I think we should reflect on that some more, to provide some balance to the rampant doom and gloom on here!Yesterday was disappointing for sure but there's a long season ahead.

I'm not sure about this. A lot of people are wanting to blame the board or Walsh for not identifying a striker to sign yet Koeman said he knew who he wanted and if he couldn't get any of them then he would make do with what he had.
Also looking at the signings made since he got here, Schniederlin, Martina, Stekelenberg and Klaassen at least are all obviously "Koeman players" so he gets involved more than some people would suggest.
All of them have dropped the ball here I reckon.
Fact is he has to find a way to make these players work.
I'm sure it can be done. But needs sorting quickly.
Another manager maybe ?

Because a club of Everton's size should not be classing 7th and winning games against a team who haven't won a league title in 28 years as a success. Why not?It look's like 7th is our glass ceiling, and our record against that lot across the park badly needs rectifying.

I'm with Big Nev

If giroud was up top yesterday it wouldn't have made any difference to the performance or result unless if course it meant a change in formationI'm sure all managers want success, doesn't mean they get it.
A Striker wouldn't make any difference to yesterday either, they were vastly superior in every area of the pitch
