Ronald Koeman discussion

Koeman is a very average manager who has absolutely no chance of getting us into the top 4, never mind challenging for the league. Letting him pick who he wants to sign for the first team has been an unmitigated disaster. We can drag this out and go nowhere or we can make a change with the chance to move forward.

We're sell to buy in my opinion and the way forward to me is to blend our young players with value signings. Get Unsworth in and give more responsibility to Walsh for first team signings and see what we can build in the medium term.

To be honest I'm thoroughly fed up with him tonight. But the problem at Everton ain't managers. If it was just poor managers we'd have got the right one a long time ago.

The problem at Everton is an utterly incompetent, fraudulent board who have no serious ambitions other than to stay in the PL and keep on the gravy train. It's all about making themselves money. How anyone seriously supports our board after all these years baffles me. If we had Mourinho we still wouldn't have got it right cause they wouldn't have backed him and would have demanded miracles from him. That's the problem here. And it's not going to change any time soon until the cretins leave.

And we have played them games with no defence and no attack. That's your perspective

Burnley beat Chelsea
Swansea held spurs
Stoke held United

We conceded for fun. Everyone can beat anyone in this league now sure, don't want to take away from that. But we are lacking the pure basics of football now. Mass recruitment or not, we have no defence, nothing in attack if we do concede and 200 midfielders who just pass it to each other before Rooney gives it away.

Mate the perspective here is that we can't even stop conceding and if there are goals against us for teams then the lack of attack is even more worrying

Let's see how we do with an easier run of fixtures and a more settled team.

Lets face it, we are on a dreadful trot.

But today we played well. We carried a goal threat, and on another day, could have walked out with 1, maybe, at a stretch, 3 points. They scored a worldy on 3 minutes, and 3 in the last 5 minutes or so. One a mistake, one a pen, one dead scruffy. Not like we were carved open.

We were awful in Italy mind. IMO, Koeman will sort this. Signs were there today. Just had one of them days.

KOEMAN

In football sometimes you get more than you deserve. Today, we deserved more than we got.

At 1-0, Ashley Williams makes a big mistake, and after that it was over. But what I saw from the team today makes me happier than last Thursday.

After half time, a really difficult start, we grew in our game and confidence. Not many teams will get the two big chances that we did today, twice one against one against De Gea, but we didn't score the goal.

It's not ambition. It's confidence. It's confidence of the players and the team. We tried to get higher but it's something that's in the head of the players after a tough period.

As a manager you try to help them, but after the whistle we started too afraid.

After that we pressed and after that you see that United are not that 'big' team, which is difficult to say because we lost 4-0.

In football you need to be clinical. united showed us how clinical you have to be. If you're not and you make mistakes, then you can't do anything against a defeat.

Now we need to win the next coming days. Realistically, we knew before the start of the season we did not expect to get nine points out of Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.

But every game is difficult. We have four home games and we need to win, or we have problems.
