Ronald Koeman discussion

And you just know that if Unsworth didn't win for a couple of games the exact same people would be on here calling for his head too.

I understand the frustration, I just don't understand why people can't look at it without going into meltdown. If this is still happening in a month's time then it's completely different.

Exactly it would be then why we getting a manager with no exp lol from the same old moaners. I'm frustrated and peed of to but I think we have to give koeman time

Are there not games we are more likely to win than others?

I'd definitely fancy us a little bit more against Burnley than against United, Chelsea and Spurs.

Yes you have a point there, Dan.

But that don't mean a bean and as things stand now, I cannot see us beating Burnley :(

And who are we kidding?

How the heck are we going to beat Bournemouth the way we are struggling to score goals these days:mad:

We're 5 games in and we've played Chelsea, City, United and Spurs. Bit of perspective wouldn't go a miss.

The perspective is we have played awful in the majority of all them games with zero attack and looking woeful in defence. Losing fair enough against these teams but the performances have been shocking! We want to be challenging top 6 didn't we at the start of the season so this isn't acceptable.

We knew the fixtures were tough, but I cannot use that.

Burnley won at Chelsea, drew at Spurs and drew at Anfield, thus making that excuse redundant.

I am afraid that to lose the last 4 games and concede 12 whilst scoring 0 is unacceptable by any standards.

Because Burnley have got a few good results it means that our performances can't be understood? It's a completely different set of circumstances. Their reward for such an amazing start is a massive 4 point lead on us...

But now isn't the time is it? You know and I know that
The time will never be right,as losing you could say he wont bring or use any, winning he wont change a winning team etc,you could really think of any thing if you really think about it,but know what you mean,me myself i think lookman bar that euro game has looked so dangerous and been direct more than most and i would have him as a sub or starting at worst, but thats me

I got to 'winnable games' and stopped. Sorry mate.

Not scored for 4 games. Barely a shot on target in all 4 of those games. Knee jerk after watching the 8 games so far this season ?

Formations all over the place. Hasn't a clue who our best 11 is. Hasn't a clue who should play where. Weird tactics.

Aye

We should have scored twice today.

For all Koeman's faults recently, Rooney and Gylfi are to blame for that, not him.

Yes definitely a tough start but the performances have been just as bad as the results . a definite improvement today he probably has to win the upcoming four home games to give him breathing space , not convinced we will though

Fair points but still think it a bit cowardly of Koeman to blame it all on the players mentality when he has been flailing to pick a consistent team/formation.

As you said Davies did well yet Koeman was only a couple of days ago saying Tom's loss of confidence was one reason he wasn't picking Kenny.
“That is for Kenny, that is for... Tom Davies was an exception, an exception. But Davies is now a little bit more struggling. Last season he came in the team and he is playing out of nothing. Every weekend he is playing out of nothing, he played with confidence and now he is thinking, he is thinking, he lost the spontaneity a little bit. That’s what."

He didn't blame it on them as such.

He basically just said that due to our run, it's a confidence issue. That isn't wrong. And we did improve once we settled.

As I've said, for me that was our best display in some weeks, yet we suffered our heaviest defeat.

Four games now that we need four wins from.

With no proper striker and cb because we spent the Lukaku money looking to sell Barkley and Niasse to balance the book?

I know, I am basically saying though that we cannot use the fixtures as an excuse.

Like I said, conceded 12, scored 0 is not acceptable.
