Ronald Koeman discussion

Watched his interviews and honestly he is the perfect man to soothe the pain of the Martinez era.

His standards are high, he speaks honestly, he doesn't tolerate slacking but isn't a miserable sod either, he prioritises work ethic and fitness. He just commands respect.

He is everything Martinez isn't, and in 5 games has revamped the mood of the club and players completely. Fingers crossed he can keep us chugging along and also get the signings he wants in January.

In short mate he looks, sounds and acts like a Boss and that is a good thing.

All is good in the Everton hood!
...2nd in the league FFS!
...stadium on the docks announcement imminent!
...our signings are immense!
...carry on like this & I'm gonna fight Jenny to finish of Bill's 5 knuckle shuffle!

Good thing today was the crowd reaction after the dubious opening goal/no goal. Got behind the team brilliantly. Last season it would have been a case of "Just our luck. Everton that. Gonna lose this one. Not our day, moan, cry, boo hoo" etc.
The results so far have given us a renewed confidence. Never felt for a second like we would lose this one. Not even after going behind.
Haven't felt that way for a long time! Long may it continue!

Romeu having a pop at Koeman in the Daily Mirror

Who is Oriol Romeu?

A no mark who didn't enjoy winning and qualifying for Europe last season with there clubs highest position. He is enjoying his football now that they are not winning and sitting near the bottom..............sounds like sour grapes and couldn't handle discipline nor pressure very well.
