Still too early to judge but he does seem to make some very good calls, subs that work out and change games, his direct talking and his handling of Ross have impressed me so far. Barkley is a bit of an enigma, but we saw a definite improvement yesterday when he could easily have crumbled under the pressure and I reckon RK has to take credit for that.

Was hardly a masterstroke taking Barkley off last week. It was absolutely necessary, and Koeman'd have been (rightfully) panned leaving him on when he was playing garbage.

The next game against so called big team is against man city, they will be more afraid to play us than we are of them.

Its the so called smaller teams and easier teams that we usually find harder to beat,2 of the teams we have beat are the same 2 that beat us in corresponding games last season,add boro who we off course didnt play,just have to keep it up and hope one loss doesnt turn into 2/3 etc when it happens and it will no doubt happen-couldnt have asked for a better start,and like leicester last season the more points you have when the bad run starts the better, as you wont go down the table as much.

b) if we ever scored three in a game under El Fraudo, we'd concede four and lose.

Koeman is a frankly astonishing improvement as a manager; not only has he vastly improved us in a shot space of time, but look at how badly Southampton are faring without him.

This fella is the real deal. Tough, honest, tactically versatile and someone who can inspire respect. The players look fitter, more focused, better organised and happy!

Early days, but hasn't put a foot wrong so far.

Koemans 1st priority was defence. How many chances have we conceded so far this season? Very few. He has got the balance correct immediately and the good thing is we are still a work in progress so we know and he knows that improvement will come. We are yet to have our true tests but we have passed all tests so far and that is all we can ask so no one can demean our results this season by indirectly criticising by the quality of teams we have played.
