Ronald Koeman discussion

I'll tell you the main problem with Ronald Koeman, the man is a massive Hampton Wick who has rubbed everyone up the wrong way. He has form for it and there are noises from the club that the atmosphere is toxic. Get rid.

Really no - its not just a matter of picking a team/formation. We have players who simply do not know what they are meant to be doing, are not well drilled and coached, a culture of fear from what I see with a manger with no man management skills. We have more than enough good players to be playing good entertaining football and winning matches we just do not have a manager worth a carrot.

The same players were well-drilled and coached last year mate.

He does have a lack of plan or system. I've said that. And that's unforgivable.

But the players aren't up to scratch either

I agree, to be fair he has made the changes... but the team is still doing nothing he "says" he wants from them.

I was sat not far away from him and he is literally not part of it, its almost embarrassing to watch. the only time me moans is when he turns to the bench, then the times he does talk to the players they ignore him.

He hasn't got a clue how to set the team up and put a rod up their arses to move and do what he is asking. The argument about the players maybe not being good enough is potentially valid, however, players who have no plan or identity or any clear mission on the pitch is worse.

It looks like they have given up on him.

In fairness I didn't see a team last night that had given up on the manager.

That was Martinez.

They haven't done that. They just don't seem to know what they are doing or - as well as that - they aren't good enough to implement the instructions Koeman has given.

I think a number of them have. What I saw was a team (for a period at least), fighting for themselves and each other. Not necessarily fat lad.

What instructions though thats the thing... Koeman talks the talk about his system and what he wants, the players are good enough to be pressing but they aren't.

Do you really think its down to them not being good enough to implement, or do you think its more then that. The players we have should be able to play the "pressing, aggressive" football he talks about constantly... but we do not.

Every game the plan changes, and things aren't done.

Its not good enough.

I saw a marginal improvement last night, I saw a tactical change too - the subs reflected that. What worries me is the utter lack of co ordination amongst the players. Look at this from last night.

Koeman remonstrated with the officials - look at our lids in total anguish too.
We are a shambles at the moment and to blame Koeman alone is adding to it

The whole place is now completely toxic, and it's waiting for the inevitable to happen.

He's a dead man walking, just put him out of his misery and let's get the toxic cloud to lift, as it'll bring a sense of optimism back and the fans will get behind the players again.

It needs to happen today for me, but I reckon it'll be next week after we've lost another 2 games. Not looking forward to going on Sunday ffs.

It'll be till after Chelsea at the earliest I fear

Dont think its purely down to Koeman, however as the manager the buck stops with him.

Its his job to get the players in the mindset and to motivate them out of this slump.. I honestly don't think he has that in him though. Seriously, he doesn't look part of things.

Just go FFS!

What's the point in sticking with him? At the very most he might string a few results together and finish mid table. WOW!

He's a complete bust, try and come to some kind of arrangement and pay him half of his contact and move on.

Holgate doesn't look too upset there Bry ?

I thought that spell after it kicked off we looked better. More intensity, more desire, moving the ball quicker.

Quite liked Sigurdsson deeper too, picking up the ball and playing forwards.

Some positives there, definitely.

I hope we stick with him.
