Why didn't he play him from start then?we knew crosses were going to be a big feature in there game.I think Mori was put on to defend the crosses they were banging in ,right choice for me.

Actually agree with this, said it during the match. Saying that though Oviedo had a good first half. Why didn't he play him from start then?we knew crosses were going to be a big feature in there game.
It would be concerning if it was mid season and no progress had been madeGot to say it's concerning the lack of players being committed forward.
He did, but still nowhere near good enough, and I think that was most of the problem last night he was one of the better players.Actually agree with this, said it during the match. Saying that though Oviedo had a good first half.
That has been a disappointing last three games. It clearly show's especially in the second half last night that two seasons worth of bad habits will take time to get out of the system. Some of those players are facing an important next three months. They need to show to Koeman that they can play to the system he wants and those who are incapable of doing that need to be shipped out.Despite what the people with an axe to grind with the current manager will tell you. It's been a decent start to the season despite the slight dip in form. There's still a fair bit to work on during the international break. There's been a lot done under Koeman so far but to paraphrase that old Irish rail slogan there quite clearly is a lot more to do. Onwards we go in Koeman we trust.
It's hard to tell at the moment. We've done well increasing the energy levels and getting behind the ball, but we almost dont exist as an attacking force anymore. In attack it looks to me that we dont construct moves, we just get the ball into space further up the pitch and then take it from there. I dont see much thought going into it. That part of Koeman's reign has been hugely disappointing...although the example of his S'ton side from last season (his team rather than the Potchetino team he inherited in his first season there) hinted at what we could expect: they were a team that hit in hope toward Long/Pelle and then piled forward players like Davis and Mane if they could find the legs to support.Sadly seems like that injury has put paid to Oviedo as a prem LB. Real shame as he seems like a great lad.
Do you think Koeman should be doing better with the current squad?
It's ok doing that against City or Spurs, but against Palace? Nah. They looked like the home team second half last night. That cant be right. It is safety first football, Dave.
Reminiscent of early era Moyes.
And late era Moyes.
Come to think of it, mid era Moyes as well![]()
And Cleverley was were? On the left of it, something Martinez did and got slated for. Looks like the fans know more than professional managers. Another fraud in charge is it?
We cannot praise Kooman when we are winning and then blame Martinez when we are losingThat has been a disappointing last three games. He asked for 'three or four' more players. He got Valencia on loan.
Where are the ones defending the board?
