He's shored things up by getting a lot of players in all games behind the ball.

If that's the way he's thinking until he gets better attacking options in then fine. But it aint pretty.

Mate it's not just that they needed to be resilient they needed to get back into that frame of mind it will give them a confidence boost

Just put a complete 90 minutes in and attack at least as much as we defend - and in numbers.

Next week at Burnley it'll be back to getting it direct to Bolaise and then strolling up to give him options again.

Overall a point at City is decent, as said. But let's not make ourselves sound small time by being delighted about a performance that we'd expect from a star struck no mark club.

They've got a very very good squad with quality all over the pitch. They brought aguero on as a sub ffs. Plus they've got a manager widely regarded as one of the best mangers in the world if not the best. Think people can rightly be quite chuffed with a point and a solid performance away at city. Especially after the last 12 months of utter drivel we've been served up with. Small steps at a time. Don't think that's making us sound small time at all. Just realistic.
 
Top tactics today, that first half wasnt great to watch but you could see he had them drilled not to fly in trying to tackle them and give them the chance for easy free kicks and to drag us all over the place, the team all had a well organised job to do making it hard for them to make real goal scoring chances and they kept it down to one light long range shot, spot on.

As for the second half a great goal fromRom, and and 2 individual errors giving away soft pens, solid game from Koeman and the defense that.

A pub team called Celtic had them all over the shop. No one is telling me our team assembled for ten times the amount of Celtics can't take the game to that lot at City.

They're not a PL class team either.

Point stands mate: if they can mount attacks and take the game to City why couldn't we?

We got away with murder there today and hung on like a Divisin One team at a PL ground.

Catch them on a day when they're not at the races or their minds are elsewhere as today and some teams outside the elite WILL get all three points.

You don't get them by hiding behind the couch though, that's for sure. You have to be brave.
