He is walking the tightrope now, and I don't think chubby old guys are very good at tightrope walking

He will be gone anyway in a year and a half so can we be spared all the boredom now and splash the Cash to get rid and get a flamboyant risk taker in

I'm sat here laughing at most of the posts on here criticising our performance today, we lost 2-1 after dominating every part of the game just like the team that are top of the league as i post this. How about you all give burnley and bournemouth some credit for achieving a result against us. Koeman inherited a limited squad and it shows in parts of our displays. Whinge as much as you like but unfortunatley this is the Prem. we are playing in not fifa's football manager and all the games are difficult so get over it and move on. Take a look at the Arsenal and Tottenham results today, they highlight how tough this league is

The problem is a large amount of football fans are not very bright, so whilst you might get some to acknowledge that what you are saying is bang on they will be back the following week going crazy when we lose 1-0 away to Stoke

The club paid Southampton a lot of money for him and are paying him a very generous salary.

He did very well at Southampton whilst we had two consecutive bottom half finishes.

You may as well fully get behind him because he is going nowhere.
certainly not to Barcelona, the fat headed tit

Yep. That's true, but defeat is always hard to take and if you look at Koeman from a certain POV, they're bound to jump on him.

I would've criticised Martinez.

Was annoying, obvs, but thought we played well, created some great openings, and I filed it under "One of those".

Missed the last sub, so didnt realise who Cleverly had come on for till later. Assumed it was a knock or something.

I backed Martinez until the evidence was just overwhelming. Koeman is a billion miles away from that situation imo.

the problem is that football club is rancid from top to bottom, losing is absolutely ingrained into the fabric of the place, it will never ever compete again for anything more than top ten and premier league survival. waste of time and money watching them

Agreed, however the problem for me is that we have way too many "one of those" type days. I think we have lots of those days because we have a built in culture at the club that needs to be wiped out. Anytime for the past 15-20 years where we have looked like progressing we bottle it.

Certainly agree on Koeman, I must admit im not a massive fan of his as I dont think his coaching career has been that impressive (its not awful either...) but he certainly needs and deserves time to mould his own team before passing judgement on him.
