Yeah, ok mate.
Went to Swansea: gave them a way of playing they still use and put them on the road to being a top tier club again
Went to Wigan: won them a trophy their pie eating little brains could only ever dream of happening to them
Went to Everton: gave us our best ever PL season
Gone to Belgium: he'll take them to Moscow and the KO stages at least there.
....meanwhile we now have a manager who's won nothing of any importance in the game being feted for taking us to Man City and parking the bus...a bus that wiill make a reappearance this weekend at Stamford Bridge....thank God we got rid of that fraud and got a bona fide manager in eh?

You know David.
He didn't give us our best ever prem season did he? Moyes did 4th place is better than 5th. He took Wigan down... did he take Swansea to the prem? His goals conceded column has increased basically every year wherever he has gone.. and he gave us our worst home record ever... that is 138 years mate... he lost the crowd and the players and kept telling us that we played well ... even after we were shocking... our players were un fit, broken mentally, he signed the spine of a relagated team ( sorry cup winning team in your eyes) and bought world class players like niasse, alcaraz and mgeady... and he also holds the record as being the only manager of all time... to sign Kone TWICE... he didn't practise defending corners and didn't like us getting corners because he was scared of conceeding from them. He was clueless enough to play howard for two years to long and acutually said a keepers experience is more important than how he's playing... never mind saying he didn't care if we conceded the first goal... which is weird seeing as he said that something like 10% or corners end up as a goal for the opposite team... so he surely must know that conceeding the first goal usually means that the team which scored first usually doesn't lose.... unless of corse it's one of his teams ... in which case we can score the first two goals and be leading with 10 mins to go and still not win.... and we did this many a time... he's crap... just realise it and stop saying he's not just to get a reaction ... it getting boring tbh

Mad to think that Koeman is only one win behind Martinez' total of home wins last season.
Let's face it, Martinez had one very good run with us during a season where the overall calibre of the League was pretty low (So low that LIVERPOOL under Brendan Rodgers could actually mount an actual title challenge FFS) and even then he bottled our push for Top 4 in games we should have won. Moyes would have been pilloried for getting us so close to a Top 4 finish only to throw it away against Palace like Martinez did
Just look at the gap between the top 7/8 teams that season and everyone else and then look at what happened once everyone had a chance to both strengthen in 14/15 and suss out Martinez's tactics. I argue that 13/14 was the aberration and both 14/15 and 15/16 were the norms, especially when you look at Martinez's Wigan side
Koeman has to deal with a much more competitive League, and though he's hardly set the world on fire he's given a solid enough account of himself thus far. Lot's of work still to do of course, and the people shouting for more exciting togger and boss tekkers may eventually get their wish once he's fully settled in, but as of right now he's going to have a tough season of righting the ship after two horrific League campaigns, getting the players fit again and also getting them well drilled defensively after years of poor defensive coaching
All being well, he'll get us fighting for European places again and leave a good foundation for his whoever his replacement ends up being
