Ronald Koeman discussion

If I'm vaulted then it means I'm wrong and we're doing well, which is absolutely fine with me. He doesn't strike me as a man that's committed to a long term project though.
I wouldn't worry about the vaults mate, I'm absolutely certain, that should we be 'successful' there will be much harsher vaults. Some of our 'fans' are desperate for him to fail, you can see it, despite him making a better start than Klopp and Pochettino, with a much worse starting point.

You think Baines had a lot to do with those early wins? Fair enough. Not me. Coincidental.

Martinez signings? This team's fate hangs by a thread on just one Martinez signing. If he goes down injured we will be in massive trouble...and no Koeman signing so far will prevent it happening.

Mate gueye is as influential as any player we have, only conceded more than one twice both times when he wasn't there, but this is about your hatred for Baines which is frankly sad

We could have got coco the clown or Roland Rat to improve our home form then. The previous poster is using this 'improvement ' against teams we should be beating as an example Koeman is getting it right!!!

Stoke and West Ham both beat us at home last season.

We have beaten them both this season.

That is, technically like, improvement.

Nah m

Nah mate I just don't knee jerk after 12 games and a bad result when we are below no team worse than us and above one that should be better, craps night, craps performance and a fair few problems we need to fix but no baby out with the bath water time for me

Happen you should "knee jerk".

To just meekly accept that rubbish today, which means we have now picked up five points out of the last eighteen on offer must alarm even the most fervent Koeman lover, is really head in the sand stuff.

To keep giving this guy the benefit of the doubt when the team is getting worse on an almost weekly basis on the grounds that we "are below no team worse than us" is bizarre.

Now, I not advocating firing him or owt like that.

But I want to see some sign he is worth the money we are paying him.

And yes, that includes getting a much sweeter tune out of the players he has at his disposal right now......in the weeks leading up to January.

If this slump since mid September continues plenty of teams who should not be "above us" will indeed be above us before much longer.

(though to be honest, I am not holding out much hope for any major signings at the quality end of the market come January).

Yeah, and I say we could have got Coco the Clown or Roland Rat to manage an improvement. Perhaps I should get the celebratory drinks out for our home form improving. If we're using that as a barometer, god help us.

What were your expectations of A new manager?

Guzye won't get you a goal. Just making the point that those rubbish Martinez signings are indispensable. Lose Lukau and we are finished for the season.

Baines? He's done and dusted mate. His race is run in terms of first team play. I don't particularly like him but I wouldn't wish injury to end his career, but that's what he's looking at. Bring Bertrand in and you'll see what we've been missing.
