I hope Walsh is hard at work drawing up potential targets.
With the £2.50 transfer budget he's been given
I hope Walsh is hard at work drawing up potential targets.
So Martinez fault againNot about fixture and not about tactics. It's simply down to basics and the willingness to execute that on the pitch.
For 90 mins we press without any meaning, fullbacks runs towards thier winger and no attempt whatsoever to win the ball back.
Our midfielders were not intelligent or discipline enough to close down the infield passes from thier wingers. We only tackle when they come close enough to shoot.
All these shadowy Defence with no purpose is the hallmark of Martinez chronic diesease that is still crippling the minds of some of our fanciful no mark players.
Pressing without an attempt to win the balls is just like wearing a condom but complaining about not being able to get pregnant.
I'd rather just be done with football, truth be told.Go and support City/Utd/Chelsea/Liverpool/Arsenal/Spurs then
So Martinez fault again
Out of the back 6 only one was a Martinez signings....
We can't keep blaming him for everything

Not preaching what was said then is relevant and/or correct but Martinez wasn't fully to blame last season, the same way Koeman is not this season.
The issues with Everton are more ingrained in the club, the lack of vision, the lack of belief and hard-luck stories galore.
Moshiri may change all that, he might not, but the crux of Everton's problems can be found in its mentality, and until that changes we -along with any manager- won't really go anywhere.
All things considered, our squad is absolutely nowhere near the level of the top 5 and it's up to Moshiri, Walsh & Koeman to sort it out.
Unless they can do that, then honestly what is the point in anything?
Outclassed and OUTFOUGHT...which is down to him.
Absolutely agree. We are going to be 7th after today, we will rightly fully be behind:
Liverpool
Chelsea
City
Arsenal
Spurs
United
All teams that are significantly better than us. We need major player investment and clearing of deadwood. Unfortunately those are the facts. If we finish seventh this year it would be a good result looking at the players at our disposal. Everton are going to have to take some risks in the turnover of our squad with talent from lower leagues and hope they turn good or massively overpay. We have found it is hard to recruit someone like Mata to us given the current club status.
I'm hearing Martinez is at fault because he failed to motivate them last season
Koeman is just going to play the same guys and use the same boring long ball...doing my head in.
The first part is the truth. every year people keep saying " best squad in 20 years" "top 4 quality" when the squad just isnt nearly as good as we think it is. Rom is really all we have as a proven consistent quality. Ross struggles with consistency as does Kev and Del. Seamus' performances have dipped, Baines is struggling with injuries. All things considered, our squad is absolutely nowhere near the level of the top 5 and it's up to Moshiri, Walsh & Koeman to sort it out.
Unless they can do that, then honestly what is the point in anything?
We do have a jewel in the crown and that is David Unsworth, he is doing s great job with the U23's.Absolutely agree. We are going to be 7th after today, we will rightly fully be behind:
