Mind you £15m is an estimation he should have spent a little bit more. Why did you take away the money he spent that on Lukaku? He decided to spend it that way. What is your argument?

What was the wage bill in the past decade and yet Moyes got 6th/7th. DM's net spend was £1-2m per season.

I ask you again and again seem you just keep ignoring. Why don't you accept RM was a failure. There is nothing to justify, he is gone.

You are comparing prices from 10 years ago to now where bolasie signs for £28mil and Sissoko is valued at £30mil.

These would have been £5mil players or lower when Moyes was managing back then.

Dont you understand? Youre in HK right? Pop down to the bank and ask them about this.

That's out of his hands though. We've had a poor squad for a while now, no matter what anyone says, they are simply not good enough. Alex Ferguson wouldn't get any more out of this lot.
Ferguson was the best manager for last couple of decades, of course he would get more out of the squad! However we were unlikely to get anyone of his calibre as our new manager.

The side that beat Arsenal 3-0 had Baines/Jags/Barkley/Del/Rom/Kev/McCarthy/Barry on at some point in the match

Totally different squad though

Mate let it go. They've aged 3 years and done nothing since that season.

They flirted with relegation twice. We were a Lukaku injury away from it last season. We broke home losses records. Most teams have substantially improved since, we've stood still. You're logic just isn't there.

Incorrect mate. The price only went crazy this summer after the new tv deal money.

The worrying thing is still the Lukaku getting injured point.

Sorry, Forgot all players get worse with every passing year

Waheyyyy we got there. Yes, they've been dreadfully managed by the PL's worst ever manager, but regardless of how it happened, they've still regressed. The squad we have now is a pale shadow of 2013/14.

Don't forget the current manager which is sort of my point

This squad is capable of good football, Koeman just can't get it out of them

So the players are capable of playing good football and getting a 72 point total?

No, because they've aged 3 years and football has moved on.

By your logic, we should put out Southall, Ratcliffe, Gray and co., because they once won a league.

If they are capable, we couldn't Martinez do it the last 2 years?

Maybe, just maybe, the first season was a fluke?
