Ronald Koeman discussion

I never thought I'd be saying this about a manager after just a couple of months, but i honestly think we should be seriously considering sacking him.

Both performances and results are relegation standard, and I'm struggling to see any evidence that things are going to improve. No excuses anymore, I didn't expect him to come in and win us the league, but there has literally been no improvement at all since he took over. That simply isn't acceptable.

Never mind "no improvement", this sh1t has gone backwards from Martinez. Whoever thought it possible?

It genuinely isn't, it's a rancid squad in absolutely every department.

First sentence is so so wrong.

it's not. Their attitude stinks but there is a lot of talent there. A lot are internationals for good international teams, some are captains. Just because they've been horrible under koeman doesn't mean they aren't good footballers.

I genuinely cannot fathom how he is helping himself by continuing with Coleman instead of Holgate, and an even more glaring choice, it must be crushing to the likes of Davies to be left aside while he proceeds to pick proven failures like McCarthy ahead of them.

Holgate was part of a winning side at the start of the season too. Madness how he overlooks him

The fact that he delayed signing his contact with us as he would rather go on holiday for two weeks should have kind of told us something.

But sure you couldn't say that at the time.....anyone who thought it strange were called all sorts.

I thought it bizarre the club accepted him staying on holiday instead of coming over next day and having all the fanfarea properly managed clubs which think of themselves as big time would have done

Not us, though.

We are the Uriah Heep of football.....ever so 'umble and honoured you took our unbelievable cash offer to leave the giant that is Southampton to manage us :(

Since this bad run has started we look just as porous as under Martinez but without the gung-ho approach to attack. There's holes all over the pitch, no real support for Lukaku and a massive space between him and the central midfielders. I'm in no way a knee jerk reactor but Koeman needs to sort this soon as we look horseshoite.

He won't last the season, IF we get bummed as bad as i reckon we will before christmas then it will also be a nice convenient excuse for the board not to spend (managerial uncertainty is always a nice reason to keep the wallet shut innit)

i think it would cost us a stupid amount to do that, such a short time after paying martinez a massive fee.

It's not so much that we're 9th, and have won 1 in 11.
It's that we haven't produced a convincing performance where we've played anything resembling decent footy all game.
We aren't playing to the strengths of our current players, nor are we showing anything other than hoofball.

Yes the players are too old and bottlers, or simply not good enough, but Koeman hasn't shown me anything to be positive about when it comes to his management.
Call me concerned.
