Ronald Koeman discussion

I,m not here to defend the manager but cmon 20 years of failure each and every season. Is,nt time we look at the club from top to bottom, it,s rotten and everything flows from the top to the pitch. Fans saying we will be alright need to have a reality check, nothing,s been the same since the 80,s. The players, the manager and the club overloads care more about the dough and there next cash move than they ever did whilst the fans are still in love with that thing we call everton.

It,s time we woke up and realized our place in the big picture becuase we as fans are the bottom of the clubs list and will be for a very long time to come.

Why mate?

That's so snobbish. We finished 11th for two years, stop making out we're a massive club that should be competing for the title.

We ain't anymore. We all want to be back there, but small steps.

It is a massive 2 games. Will Mosh pull the trigger? No chance.
I would not trust him to run a boy scout team every week you look at the dour side he picks blame RB no youth on the bench even Holgate dropped Delboy started best player for us he could not pick his nose never mind a pisitive line up dour football till the last ten minutes he is doomed IMO!
Lukaku scored two his other play was bone idle!

Agree that he just doesn't looked arsed. Needs to start motivating the players from the touch line, not slagging them off in the press after the game
Those worthless wasters don't ever get motivated. Two and a half years of dross now. They were garbage under Martinez and they're still garbage now. Koeman may as well try and motivate a statue because these players obviously don't care a button about the club or fans.

I want Eddie Howe. NEA.

His side playing good football, have a great team spirit they're tough to beat. He inherited this team so he deserve a lot of credit and a chance at bigger club.

Maybe we need someone young (but proven), commited and full of passion to end this mess? He fits that bill imo.
Howe isn't the answer he's purely a Bournmouth man as his stint at Burnley illustrated.

Loss Everton 0 Nowich 2
Loss Bournemouth 1 Everton 0
Draw Everton 1 Palace 1
Draw City 1 Everton 1
Loss Burnley 2 Everton 1
Win Everton 2 West Ham 0
Loss Chelsea 5 Everton 0
Draw Everton 1 Swansea 1
Loss Southampton 1 Everton 0
Draw Everton 1 Man Utd 1
Loss Watford 3 Everton 2

--- Everton v Arsenal
--- Everton v Liverpool
--- Leicester v Everton

If those 3 games go the way form says they should do, then christ thats sacking form for ANY manager

Commas mate, commas.

he had a very similar run at S'ton last year and turned it around on boxing day Khal.

He is a good manager.

ATM he's not doing one or two things that should improve us though, based on what we've seen.

If he tried that, and it didn't work out, I wouldn't have an issue. But as bad as these players are, he's sticking with the same old stuff.
Mate, any manager who needs a complete overhaul of a squad in order to do ANYTHING isn't "a good manager"

That run at Southampton was diabolical. It's never been acceptable at Everton. Only scum like BK and Elstone and their stench of mediocrity have conned fans into accepting it.

I think he will turn it around and I hope he will. But it's unacceptable and needs a result in our next 2 or he's a goner.

I don't agree with it but I think it's very naive to think Moshiri will let poor form slide like BK did. Especially when it's his money that will be spent in the months ahead.

Why? The players will down tools on the next manager and the next one after that and that,s the problem.

There is no loyality left in the game except what the fans bring every week till that ebbs away.

He can have my backing, but he need to show he deserve his money. If you're a manager you need to try to improve players you have at your disposal and start rebuilding job based on your best players. Yet Koeman made us hate all of our players and we don't have any regrets to sell everyone bar Gueye. That's not the way forward as you need to trust people who works for you. If there's no chemistry at all, that's a recipe for failure.

But equally so I've never known a fanbase to be so ready to turn on a new boss - which you can't deny Evertonians have been.

I most certainly can deny it, Toff.

Toff....please stop it.

Stop blaming the fans.

We are not "quick to turn on a new boss".

For goodness sake Bobby was still carrying a critical mass of fans until March of this year.

That was because Bobby had bought himself a great deal of good will on the back of the Camelot season, the good run in Europe, the exhilarating style of the football we were witnessing last autumn.....and crucially, because he tapped into the Evertonian ethos and actually felt privileged to manage our great and beloved club.

This fellow, on the other hand, is serving up utter garbage on the field and strikes a devil may care pose about our club off it.

It is starting to grate with people.

But none of that would matter if we were getting results.

Which we palpably are not.

7 points from 30.

With home games against Arsenal and Liverpool preceding a trip to Leicester.

There is no fan base in the world would sit patiently by in these circumstances and not voice their concerns or vent their fury.

In fact....far from being a fanbase which you have "never known" to be ready to "turn on a new boss" we are actually being quite patient with Mr. Koeman.

The Kopites had hounded, or all but hounded, Hodgson out the door by this stage of his first and only season, following a six game losing streak.

United fans were already baying for Wee Davey's blood by December.

Spurs fans had Juande Ramos gone and Arry in by the October if memory serves.

And Chelsea fans "turned" on Rafael before he even led the team out for his first match in charge.

Are Evertonians less passionate about their clubs than these other fans are?

I think not, Toff.

Are we more patient and tolerant than them?

You bet we are.....by a long, long way.

Which is why this rising discontent among our fans is both understandable and quite justified.

The guy does not seem up to it right now......and that should be of great concern to every last man, woman and child in Evertonia.
